Whether they be climactic battles that envelop the world, road-side skirmishes against a band of bandits, or hectic outer-space dogfights, battles are inevitable; whatever side you choose to take is a decision that's yours, and yours alone.

For what — or for whom — are you fighting? Be it fame, power, or simply the eye of a maiden (or suitor), there's always a motive, and there's always a prize...

The Basics:
1] Tag into here with your character's name and canon in the header. List any preferences in your comment (i.e. "no graphic violence" or whatever you see fit).
2] Tag another character and begin (or continue!) your heated battle!
3] Remember to respect your fellow mun, and have fun!

The Options:

Motive:
1] Self-Defense — They came after you first! You had no choice but to stand your ground, of course.
2] Honor — They've stained your pride, tarnished your name, sullied your reputation; whatever the case may be,
you've got to right this wrong!
3] Campaign — You're on the warpath, either under orders or on your own. How dare these
insects stand against you?
4] Arena Fighting — A steel cage looms around you! It's a fight for the sake of excitement (and maybe a hefty prize).
5] Choose Your Own Adventure — Your fate is in your own hands.

Genre:
1] Fantasy — Swords, shields, spears, and spells.
2] Modern — Guns, explosives, tanks and aircraft galore!
3] Futuristic — Beam swords! Blaster guns! Mechanized suits! SPACESHIPS!
4] Choose Your Own Genre — Because who doesn't want to fight alien thugs that fling fireballs on a space colony?

Locale:
1] Fortress/Military Base— A defensive settlement, perfect for housing many troops. Let's hope they're well trained.
2] Palace Hall — One on one against the lord of the manor. Or perhaps there is more to this than meets the eye...
3] Open Field — Thousands of armored units stand ready. When will the charge begin?
4] Wilderness — The rough outdoors. Not a lot of soldiers know how to take control of their terrain, however.
5] Choose Your Own Setting — Fight wherever your heart pleases!

[The expression of the magical girl as she materialized a volley of muskets against the racoon (whom had decided to collect the price on her head) was solid not by sheer determination or elegance and confidence in her movements, but the augmented brain of a puella magi adapting to strange circumstances beyond the shit any fourteen-year-old-girl would expect to see, such as ending up in a pulp sci-fi work after being in the darkest shoujo manga in existence for a year.

There was little knowledge on what the hell happened after the fight against that space-obsessed witch, but only an hour passed while in here and she had become a musket-making magical girl fighting a machinegun-wielding racoon bounty hunter on an alien planet.

Tomoe Mami lived an interesting life. That realization darkened her soul gem just a little.]
