[He's never really given much thought to religion, honestly, but when he has, it's seemed . . . nice, in its way, but not for him.

He keeps watching, though soon his fidgeting means he's watching upside-down, feet in the air.]

[ he snorts, amused, and shoves finn's feet sideways without looking away from the tv. ]

Yeah. Made it real hard to tell when a dame was blushing.

[He nudges his foot over, sloooowly creeping it towards Bucky, trying to see how far he can get without being shoved back.]

I don't think they do that anymore. Blush, I mean.

[No, Finn, they just don't around you. On screen, George and Mary are getting all kissy and lovey, and he pulls a face. He's starting to like girls, and kissing, and stuff like that, but not when he's around other dudes, because it's embarrassing enough on his own, thanks.]

[His foot edges clooooser, as he glances up slyly.]

[ he still doesn't turn, but he does glance down at him, eyebrows raised. ]

[ he eyes finn for a second before rasping his knuckles across the kid's forehead. ]

Maybe when you're older.

[ he doesn't want to risk losing himself in a spar and really hurting finn, the way he has with steve and natalia. it'll give them both time to grow. ]

[He sticks his tongue out, pulls a face-- but Finn knows when he ought to pull back. So he falls back on the couch, still upside down, and focuses back on the movie.]

Did you guys really talk like that back then?

[ he's quiet a minute, because he honestly doesn't know. has to think on it a second before it pings something familiar. ]

Yeah. We put a lot of weight on manners and reputation, lookin' the part of proper.

[ those kinds of things used to matter to him once. weird. ]

It's kinda cool. But I'd get tired of dressin' like that. I mean, it looks like it took a while.

[ he smirks, faintly, just a hint of brooklyn flashing in the smallest quirk of his lips. ]

Couldn't get away with rolling out of bed into whatever was around.

[ granted, they're mostly form-fitted jeans and hoodies or outfits natalia put together for him, but still. ]
