| 1. Comment with your info and preferences. 2. Tag other people. 3. Your characters are now fighting. 3b. Roll for prompts if you need some ideas. |
WHO
- Strangers - As first impressions go, this one's a doozy.
- Acquaintances - You know each other, but have never had reason to particularly like or dislike each other. Until now.
- Neighbors/Roommates - Block, street, building, floor, apartment, whatever. You live in close enough proximity that you can't properly avoid each other.
- Teammates - You've been forced to work together by school, work, a mutual enemy, or a mutual goal. Doesn't mean you have to like it.
- Friends - You actually like each other, or at least spend all your time together acting like it. Even friends can fight, though.
- Lovers - Are you just letting off steam over some pent-up frustrations, or is this relationship too toxic to survive?
- Enemies - You don't even like each other anyway. This is par for the course or long overdue.
- Nemeses - No one gets to kill you but me.
- Complicated/Other - Combine prompts or cover anything I've missed!
HOW
- Verbal - A good old-fashioned argument. Try not to say anything too vicious.
- The Silent Treatment - For when passive aggressive is more your style.
- Physical - The time for arguing has passed. The time for fists (and teeth and hair-pulling) is now.
- Armed - Guns, swords, snowballs, laser beams, magic, and more. If your control slips or you make one false move, this fight is over and so is one of you. (Definition of "over" may vary.)
- Angry Sex - Because maybe you want a smut option.
- Mixed Bag/Other - I can't think of everything.
WHY
- Basic Biology - You're hungry. You're tired. You're from a species that gets really pissed off at certain times of year. Whatever's going on, your body is really unhappy and someone's going to suffer for it.
- A Misunderstanding - One of you thinks the other did something they didn't, or is something they aren't. Too bad no one's waiting for an explanation.
- It's A Set-Up - Someone else has deliberately set you against each other, either aware of your connection to each other or trying to keep you distracted to avoid a team-up.
- Little Things - Pet peeves and tiny little problems have been adding up for a while, and that was the last straw.
- Actions Have Consequences - Whether it was an accident or deliberate, one of you did something the other couldn't let slide.
- It Had To Be This Way - You're on opposite sides, and regardless of what's between you neither can back down.
- Because Fuck You, That's Why - As if you need an excuse to fight.
- Because Reasons - There's more than one reason, something personal, or something else entirely.
