THE AMUSEMENT PARK MEME
Everyone likes having fun right? What's more fun than going to an amusement park? Going to it with your friends, family, new acquaintances or even enemies! The possibilities are endless!
1. Post with your character, name and canon in the subject line.
2. Tag others.
3. Have fun!
Full park! The place is packed and you can barely step two feet without bumping into someone. Can you find your friend in the crowds? Did you lose them? Long lines getting you down? Maybe this wasn't as fun as you thought it would be.
Slow day. Well lucky you! No long lines or waiting hours, the park is yours to have all the fun you want! Ride that roller coaster ten times in a row if you want, just don't lose your lunch on the ride!
Abandoned. You've found an amusement park that was shut down and abandoned years ago. For some reason there still seems to be power, but not all the rides work, or if they do they may not work right. Lights blink and flicker and die, songs that once sounded cheerful and joyful now drone and fade eerily from speakers that are clogged with dust and rusted by rain and not being kept up. Who knows, this place may even be haunted!
What's your theme? Not in it just for amusement? How about a theme park? Get out your bathing suit it's a water park! Or maybe one based off the dinosaurs? Or maybe you want to shoot up into outer space? Or knights in shining armor are more you deal? Whatever it may be, you're now in a theme park all of your choosing!
Or just do whatever you want! These are only a few ideas to get you started, but the sky is the limit, just have fun!

[You nefarious thing!]
Dedenne doesn't bother to add anything, too busy gobbling up tiny pawfuls of cotton candy.
They certainly do look sweet and happy!

"Keep your head facing the same way, I'm taking some shots from a different angle."
[Nooow we just need to clean up the dusty PS2 to get it to work! Old consoles, man.]
"Ooh, I wanna play that one next!"
I've been playing it again recently to refresh my memory and wow so much nostalgia
"Sure! I can take some pictures there, too."
She also would like to play, too, but work comes first.
[Gotta love things that can take you back just by playing them~]
She picked it up, sticking her tongue out in concentration and squinting at her target as she decided on a target.
(Eureka might just have to drag Jade into this fun business because, really, how many pictures do you need?)
Jade was one of my heroes when I was in high school
What is a problem, though is how Eureka is positioning herself.
"Hey," she says quietly as not to startle the little girl, "it's better if you stand with one foot in front like this." She demonstrates, putting her left foot in front and rotating her body so that her right shoulder, which he was holding the camera in as a ball substitute, was behind her. "It helps with aim and throwing it hard enough for the ball to knock the bottles over."
And what a hero to have! I really admired how genuine she was, she felt like a real person.
Eureka had no idea that Jade was not only a photographer, but an expert ball-thrower apparently! Because when she very carefully imitated Jade (although, not precisely, her little body being a bit clumsier), she was in just the right position to land a good hit in. "Wow, thanks, I could win this!"
So true! Plus the fact that she had awesome action scenes
"No problem." Jade rests a hand on each of Eureka's shoulders. "Now, keep your eyes on the target. Take your time with aiming, and then throw the ball as hard as you can while keeping both of your feet on the ground."
[Tough with a believable personality too, she had it all~ ... and this is so cute. ;3;]
Once she felt she locked on the target and wouldn't waver, she aimed and threw!
— hitting just a tiny bit to the left of her target, bringing down the top bottle and the bottom right. The remaining left bottle danced on the edge, irritatingly toying with the idea of staying, before finally dropping off the table.
Eureka was too surprised to react.
"We have a winner!" the worker gave her a quick round of applause. "What'll it be, missy?"
If Eureka didn't already have a family, Jade would love to adopt her
"Hey," she pokes Eureka, still unable to react. "Go get your prize."
[Aww, Jade~ fortunately, Eureka's one of the few in this series to have a loving/living father!]
She proudly accepted her prize (that's certainly picture-worthy, right?), Dedenne chattering excitedly in its own language.
—but, very quickly, both girl and Pokemon turn eyes to Jade with big, beaming and slightly mischievous grins.
"GROUP HUG!!"

"Wh-" she manages to get out before she's tackle-hugs by a kid running at full speed, almost getting knocked over in the process.
"Oof!" She takes a step back to balance herself, thankful for the camera being made of a non-slippery plastic.

Dedenne scrambled up onto Jade's arm, nuzzling it. "Deden-ne!"
"Never would have got it without you! You're amazing, Jade!"
They might've been rougher than they should have been and they are quite the handful, but can you really blame those innocent faces?

"Aww, it's nothing. I couldn't just let you play without giving you some advice." With six orphans back home, she knows how much joy little kids get from having someone older help them out.
She doesn't even mind missing the photo opt.
[L-laaaate!]
"You're a really kind lady, you know! If you were a little younger, I'd ask if you'd wanna be my bro's bride! I'm trying to find him a wife."
She said it with the perfect, whole-hearted confidence children typically have of even their flimsiest, most unrealistic plans.
"Jade, are there any games you like? Maybe you could pick the next one!"
[Never a Problem!]
Jade forced a little laugh. "Well, I'm glad to know that you think so much of me, but maybe you should ask your brother if he wants a wife already when he's so young." Nearly 21, Jade still thought that she was too young to think about settling down with anyone.
"Well, I'm better at arcade games, really." She tucked her camera into her SAC for later. Why not take a break with Eureka? "But I guess I can try some of those target games"
no subject
But that's quickly forgotten in favour of games! "Let's do it!"
Eureka excitedly pulled on Jade's wrist.
"To the arcade!"
"Dedenne-de!"
no subject
But first, the arcade!
"Alright, lead the way!" She lets Eureka lead her to wherever the games might be.
no subject
That's putting it lightly. Jade might just have to do that, because Eureka, while very driven to lead her to the arcade, gets momentarily distracted quite frequently every time pretty girls walks by, as if mentally making note of them for future

She took a moment to fan herself. "So which game do you want to start with first?" She noticed a few pinball games in the corner, but she wasn't sure if Eureka was interested in that.
[Aaand more college and a minor hand injury later... hope you're still up to continue! o/]
Jade would be good at that, right?
Eureka is ready to go again! The inside of the arcade is a whole lot cooler than it is outside, so that's a definite plus.
[It's always okay to RP with someone who knows who Jade is!]
"The shooting games sound like fun, but I'm going to look a little more-" and there she spotted it: an empty air hockey table. Jade rushed over there to check if all of the pieces were there, and yes, it was all hers. Or theirs, if Eureka wanted to play.
"Hey, you ever played this game?" Back home in Hillys, the game she played with Francis was different, but air hockey was similar enough for Jade to enjoy. "I think we need some coins to play, though," she said after inspecting the machine.
[I'm glad to hear that! ^_^ And it's always a pleasure to play with your lovely Jade.]
It's a simple enough game and the objective was easy to remember, so Eureka happily fed coins into it, before picking her side, needing to stretch a little to see a little more clearly over the tabletop. "Let's play, Madame Jade!"
no subject
She looked up to see Eureka stretching herself over the tabletop. "Hey, you want something to stand on first?" If she was going to play against a little girl, the playing field would need to be balanced.
no subject
"I-I'm fine! Please, take me seriously!"
Her diminutive height might be a bit of a sore spot, but... Jade had a point there, they'd play better on equal footing and her tone wasn't insulting, so...
"Maybe just a teeny-tiny boost."
