winter meme? winter meme.

❄ it's quiet
and the snow's beautiful tonight → a winter open meme
snowfall;
stage i; none, streets are already blanketed in white.
stage ii; very light and intermittent.
stage iii; light - moderate. lasts longer periods.
stage iv; continuous, heavy snowfall.
stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.
scenarios;
① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.
② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?
③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.
④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!
⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.
⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.
⑦ mix and match, or make up your own.- from krystaliske @ memebells

Sharon focused all her attention on proving herself at SHIELD. She looked up to her Aunt Peggy so much, and tried her best to be just like her. In her ambitions to be like her aunt, she barely focused on discovering her own interests.

He doesn't draw as much as he used to, not when it sometimes made him brood too much for his past.

"Dishsoap's underneath the sink." He's not fond of the scent of chemical dishsoap but it really was more convenient than the hard bars of stuff he used to use in the forties.

"As you can imagine, being a nurse means I keep strange hours and really don't have much free time," she replied to his question as she finished up the dishes. "But it seems we both like to read in our spare time. Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn is really good, if you're into mysteries."

He smiled and leaned back against the counter. "Got any music recs for me then since we're at it?"

The ipod had been a gift, ostensibly for him to listen to music when he took his daily jogs but usually he preferred to concentrate on his surroundings instead.

"I could pull up some songs off the Internet for you to listen to, and see if you like them," she suggested. "Then I can make you a playlist."
no subject
He smiled at the offer. "That'll be swell. Thanks a lot. I know you don't have a lot of free time, with your job and all..."

"Now that the dishes are done, you can show me your sketch book," she said. "Don't think I forgot about it."
no subject
"Aw, shucks. I was hoping you'd forget." Steve said good-naturedly enough and it only took a few minutes to retrieve his sketchbook from his bedroom to hand over to her.
I have like no icons of her smiling, I'm sorry. /uses the same two over and over
With a smile, she took the sketch book and opened it. "Lucky for you, I have a great memory." She examined each page with interest. After a few pages she said, "These are pretty good. If you ever decide to retire as Captain America, you can be an artist."
sorry for that late tag, I've been on vacation
"It's good to know I have options if I ever hang up the shield." Steve answered answered jokingly. He doubted that he would ever really quit though, nor would any government let it's one super soldier go.
It's okay!
She finished looking at his sketches and looked at him, "Can you draw me like one of your French girls?" she asked, jokingly.

"Oh! I know that reference!" He perked up. "From Titanic right?" He was getting more references slowly as he caught up and there was always burst of pride when he got something.
no subject
She had to laugh when he exclaimed that he got the reference. "Yeah, Titanic. Although now you have me wondering who got you to watch it. That's more of a date night movie."
no subject
He smiled. "A co-worker did. It was part of an attempt to set me up with someone." Natasha meant well but Steve hasn't been in the mood for dates lately.
no subject
Dating for her was a problem she avoided. Considering the nature of her work whoever she was dating would be kept in the dark about a huge part of her life. And she definitely refused to go down the inter-office romance path.
no subject
He had nothing against dating co-workers, hoping that close contact would mitigate some of the awe and reverence some people felt for Captain America.
no subject
SHIELD was her life and she couldn't see her living a life without it. She had invested far too much into her career there. "You just need to get used to the 21st century. You have alot of catching up to do." No one would be dumb enough to say no to Captain America.
