FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S MEME

During the day, it's a place of joy. But you aren't here during the day. Maybe you've desperate for a bit of cash, and ignored the ominous warning on the newspaper ad. Maybe you've eaten at the pizzaria since you were a child, and thought that taking up a job here can't possibly go wrong. Or maybe you're just playing the game under your bed covers at 2am.
Because seriously, who the fuck would work here for more than one day.
This is a meme based of the new horror game, Five Nights at Freddy's. As you would expect, this is a horror meme. Therefore, warnings for blood, gore, mutilation, and if you're really fucking scared of living dolls and the like you might want to think twice before posting here. A playthrough for the brave, and a small snippet for the faint of heart:
You've been hired as the night guard at a pizzaria called 'Freddy Fazbear's Pizza', and it seems that the animatronics seem to get a bit... quirky at night. On your first day, a phone recording from the previous guards starts to play, and it explains that you can't let the animatronics see you, or they will force you into an animatronic suit. And with all those wires and cogs in an animatronic suit? Yeah, that isn't going to end well.
Unfortunately, you can't just close the doors and pray to whatever deity you believe in. You've got limited power (you know, budget cuts) to make it through from 12am to 6am. Checking security cameras to see where each animatronic is, turning on the hallway lights outside your guardpost, closing the doors- all of these take up power. Use it all up? Black out, and you're left exposed. Good luck surviving that.
The guy on the phone is good at giving you tips, at least-- but these robots don't just seem to be... robots. They only move when you're not looking, and when you are looking, they have a tendency to look straight at the screen. (People who've seen Bonnie at Cam 5 will know how batshit terrifying this is.) And they seem to be... rather intelligent. Wait, did that one just talk?
There's 4 animatronics- Bonnie the purple bunny, Chica the chicken, Foxy the fox and Freddy the bear. Foxy's special, in the sense that it's got a whole area to itself and if you don't watch it enough, it will run down the fucking hallway. Freddy rarely leaves the stage... but he will if you run out of power. Oops.
You've got to balance limited power, limited view and trust that lady luck is on your side-- just to survive to 6am.
Good luck, sport.
Options:
1. FIRST DAY: You and your new co-worker take the job as night security. Maybe you're childhood friends, maybe you're strangers to each other. But when the phone recording starts playing and you both realize this isn't exactly what you two signed up for, you'd better start working together. Fast.
2. OVERTIME: Maybe you're a sucker for the paranormal or you seriously have a death wish, but you haven't quit the job yet. Quite the contrary, in fact. You're working doubly hard. Except tonight, it seems that they're getting more... lively. Hey, did the rabbit just speak--
3. FUCK THIS SHIT: Hell no are you staying cooped up in the guard room. You're going out of there. Maybe you're gonna investigate the back rooms, maybe you're going to find someplace else to hide, or maybe, if you're actually sane, you're going to try finding a way to escape. Still, is that a the music box theme song you hear nearby? Maybe leaving wasn't the best idea...
4. THEY GOT YOU: Uh oh. Well, they're here. Time to say your last words before you get brutally slaughtered by walking talking animatronics.
5. CHECK PIRATE COVE GODDAMMIT: Hiring more than one guard was a mistake, because in the heat of the moment, you're arguing over what to do. Maybe they want you to close the door, but you've only got 20% left and 3 hours to go. Maybe they want to look at another camera. In any case, try to settle this dispute fast, or something else is going to do it for you.
6. WHY IS IT DARK: Oops, out of power. Quick, play dead!
7. JUST PLAYING THE GAME: You're not actually stuck in a life-or-death situation. You're just playing it on your computer. It's still fucking terrifying, though.
8. YOU CAN'T CONTROL ME: Or make your own prompts!

[He was trying to be nonchalant, but he didn't have much heart into it. He took a glance out the door, seeing that damn duck shuffling over, and hit the switch for the door. Here we go again... geeze.]
no subject
[She may have been blind to Adachi's darker side until now, but she's surprisingly quick now. Maybe it's the mind-bending terror.]
no subject
You pick the worst things to be stubborn about.
[...but at the very least, now he could be himself around her. Strange how that was almost a relief.]
no subject
[She says that lightly, but as soon as the duck is gone, she motions for him to hit the switch again to release the door, her hands shaking.
She really does want to ask him why he bothered to save her, and she looks at him for the barest moment with that question in her eyes, but she doesn't dare speak of it. Not yet, at least.]
no subject
[He almost said something himself, but a strange noise from somewhere in the building caught his attention. Adachi felt his heart freeze, hoping that noise didn't mean what he thought it meant.]
...c-check for the bear!
no subject
T-the left door!
no subject
[Crap...!]
[He had about a second to realize that the bear was too close before a fuzzy hand grabbed his arm, and he was staring in the face of true musical terror.]
no subject
She couldn't even scream. All she could do was pray for a miracle... or for it to be over quickly.]
no subject
Mari, get away! It'll grab you too! Mari!
no subject
[Maribelle desperately slammed that damnable button as hard as she could, well aware of the stench of mucus and blood and she didn't know what else. She was terrified, tears streaming down her face - but if they were to die here, at least they wouldn't die alone.]
no subject
[They were going to both die here, but he couldn't let that happen. He was the only one that was supposed to suffer, dammit. This was supposed to be his punishment for what he did... why the hell did she just have to put herself in the middle of it!?]
[Why the hell did he fucking care!?]
[His grip on the door frame was loosening, and the both of them were going to get dragged away any second. Hitting the door switch was pointless -- if the door came down now, it would be coming down on their heads and they'd die anyway. It really wasn't a much better death than being shoved into a costume; it'd just cause the day manager more work scraping their bodies off the door frame.]
[Adachi grimaced in pain, feeling his arm shaking. Any second... any second he was going to die. The fact that he was going die was right there, staring him in the face and playing that damn sickening melody, and... and he was damn terrified.]
[He didn't want to die.]
[For a moment it seemed like he was somewhere else, as he almost casually let go of the door frame. Just as they were about to be dragged out into the hall, however, something exploded between Adachi and the damn bear, and he flung an arm around Mari as they were thrown violently back into the room. He caught a glimpse of black and pulsing red before his foot snapped out, managing to kick the switch and finally close the damn door before they hit the ground.]
no subject
[She shouts it at the exact same time he does, nearly screaming it as she closes her eyes and tenses in preparation for their painful, horrifying deaths.
She doesn't want to die. She doesn't want to die.
And then there's a sound, and a rush of movement, and they're both flung back into the room. Why? What in the worlds is happening now?
But she doesn't care. She's shaking, and sobbing, nearly curled up on the floor in fear and sadness.
5 AM.]
no subject
[He was shaking as he finally let go of her, looking like he was going to be sick, but managing to hold himself together. He knew his Persona couldn't have appeared for long, especially since he had lost concentration so quickly. Adachi glanced her over, making sure she was okay, and realizing he still had a death grip on her arm despite mostly letting her go. It took him a moment to force his hand to unclench, before he fumbled to his feet, checking the camera. He could see a long gash along the wall outside, along with what looked like a lightning scorch mark on the floor.]
[...well shit, that was going to get him fired.]
[The bear animatronic was still just outside the hallway, almost looking confused, but otherwise unharmed. The others were coming to join it, like they were checking to make sure it was okay, before Adachi couldn't look at it anymore.]
W-we've got thirty percent power... that should get us to six.
no subject
What... what was that?
[she manages to glance at the camera, shivering as she notices that everyone else was outside that door. What if they broke it down? What if they stopped waiting?]
And then what?
no subject
[He paused as he glanced at the two locked doors. No, he was pretty sure they wouldn't be able to get through, even if they all went at one door. Those things were pretty damn thick.]
...I don't have any fire spells.
no subject
[Or could she? She hasn't tried... but she also lacks her tomes. With that firmly in mind, she manages to drag the viewing screen over, firmly huddled against Adachi. Can they really leave the doors locked for so long?]
I meant... if we make it through this - then what?
[What do they do with themselves, with each other?]
no subject
[Adachi didn't seem bothered with her so close, and even wrapped an arm around her to keep her close.]
...dunno. Pretty sure I'm fired, so... I guess breakfast and going to sleep sound like a good thing to do.
no subject
I don't believe I'll ever want to sleep again, after this.
[she switches between the screens as she speaks, watching the others and trying to get her legs to stop feeling so much like the very personification of jelly.
Seriously, though, she doubts she can even do so much as stand right now.]
no subject
[He paused, considering...]
Hey, if I can do that again and rip those stupid things to shreds, would it help?
[Yeah... after that, he gave precisely zero fucks.]
no subject
[She looks up at him again, sniffling.]
... Could you? Don't try it unless you're certain. I won't let those monsters get to you before I give you a piece of my mind.
no subject
Looks like this job is over.
[He took a moment to uncurl himself from around Mari, before going over to smack the door switch open. The man was staring there in bewilderment, not sure how the hell he was supposed to fix that gouge.]
Hey, by the way? I quit.
[The man just stared at him in bewilderment as he marched right past him, pausing where the animatronics were lined up in their usual places during the day, looking completely innocent and cheerful.]
[Bullshit, but he was going to wait for Mari before he did anything.]
no subject
She looked at Adachi, and she knew he was thinking the exact same thing she was: they had to be destroyed.
They deserved it.]
no subject
[That flash of black and pulsing red came to live before the two of them as Magatsu Izanagi was dragged out of Adachi's soul. With one command from him, lightning came raining down on the animatronics. They popped and fizzled, electronics short circuiting and their fuzzy costumes catching fire. The day manager let out a scream of horror, but Adachi didn't care enough to spare him a glance.]
[He wrapped an arm around Mari, steering the two of them toward the door as Magatsu Izanagi started stabbing into Pirate's Cove, coming back with the shredded remains of a mechanical corpse dangling at the end of his sword before disappearing.]
no subject
But in her mind, burning was too good for this damnable place.
She followed Adachi, allowing him to steer her away as he pleased, never once showing the toll their ordeals had taken on them. It was only once they were safe and alone that she pulled away from him.
She looked up at him, her face as unreadable as it had been previously, save for the tears sparkling in her eyes. Then, without so much as a word, she reared back and aimed a slap to his face, as hard as she could.]
no subject
...guess I deserved that.
