During the day, it's a place of joy. But you aren't here during the day. Maybe you've desperate for a bit of cash, and ignored the ominous warning on the newspaper ad. Maybe you've eaten at the pizzaria since you were a child, and thought that taking up a job here can't possibly go wrong. Or maybe you're just playing the game under your bed covers at 2am.

Because seriously, who the fuck would work here for more than one day.

This is a meme based of the new horror game, Five Nights at Freddy's. As you would expect, this is a horror meme. Therefore, warnings for blood, gore, mutilation, and if you're really fucking scared of living dolls and the like you might want to think twice before posting here. A playthrough for the brave, and a small snippet for the faint of heart:

You've been hired as the night guard at a pizzaria called 'Freddy Fazbear's Pizza', and it seems that the animatronics seem to get a bit... quirky at night. On your first day, a phone recording from the previous guards starts to play, and it explains that you can't let the animatronics see you, or they will force you into an animatronic suit. And with all those wires and cogs in an animatronic suit? Yeah, that isn't going to end well.

Unfortunately, you can't just close the doors and pray to whatever deity you believe in. You've got limited power (you know, budget cuts) to make it through from 12am to 6am. Checking security cameras to see where each animatronic is, turning on the hallway lights outside your guardpost, closing the doors- all of these take up power. Use it all up? Black out, and you're left exposed. Good luck surviving that.

The guy on the phone is good at giving you tips, at least-- but these robots don't just seem to be... robots. They only move when you're not looking, and when you are looking, they have a tendency to look straight at the screen. (People who've seen Bonnie at Cam 5 will know how batshit terrifying this is.) And they seem to be... rather intelligent. Wait, did that one just talk?

There's 4 animatronics- Bonnie the purple bunny, Chica the chicken, Foxy the fox and Freddy the bear. Foxy's special, in the sense that it's got a whole area to itself and if you don't watch it enough, it will run down the fucking hallway. Freddy rarely leaves the stage... but he will if you run out of power. Oops.

You've got to balance limited power, limited view and trust that lady luck is on your side-- just to survive to 6am.

Options:

1. FIRST DAY: You and your new co-worker take the job as night security. Maybe you're childhood friends, maybe you're strangers to each other. But when the phone recording starts playing and you both realize this isn't exactly what you two signed up for, you'd better start working together. Fast.

2. OVERTIME: Maybe you're a sucker for the paranormal or you seriously have a death wish, but you haven't quit the job yet. Quite the contrary, in fact. You're working doubly hard. Except tonight, it seems that they're getting more... lively. Hey, did the rabbit just speak--

3. FUCK THIS SHIT: Hell no are you staying cooped up in the guard room. You're going out of there. Maybe you're gonna investigate the back rooms, maybe you're going to find someplace else to hide, or maybe, if you're actually sane, you're going to try finding a way to escape. Still, is that a the music box theme song you hear nearby? Maybe leaving wasn't the best idea...

4. THEY GOT YOU: Uh oh. Well, they're here. Time to say your last words before you get brutally slaughtered by walking talking animatronics.

5. CHECK PIRATE COVE GODDAMMIT: Hiring more than one guard was a mistake, because in the heat of the moment, you're arguing over what to do. Maybe they want you to close the door, but you've only got 20% left and 3 hours to go. Maybe they want to look at another camera. In any case, try to settle this dispute fast, or something else is going to do it for you.

6. WHY IS IT DARK: Oops, out of power. Quick, play dead!

7. JUST PLAYING THE GAME: You're not actually stuck in a life-or-death situation. You're just playing it on your computer. It's still fucking terrifying, though.

8. YOU CAN'T CONTROL ME: Or make your own prompts!

[She blinks, but doesn't check the stage immediately. Instead, she checks the doors. On the left, the bunny appears in the door. She jumps in her seat and shuts the door, her heart pounding.]

[Oh god oh god oh god...!]

[Naoto jumps, but Kanji makes an odd squawk in his throat and is absolutely not a fan of this stupid game any more. Hell, he even checks over his shoulder to make sure that damn door is at least closed.]

Screw that. K-keep that door closed!

I can't keep the door closed forever. It drains energy.

[She still has a lot considering what time it was in game, but no, she was not going to take chances. The other door was proven clear with a flick of the light, but checking the left light, the rabbit was still there.]

[Frowning, she began to check the cameras again.]

So write the boss a note sayin, 'Yo, I was gonna get my face eaten off if I didn't keep this door closed!'

[Except it's a game, Kanji. Ugh, the duck's closer now, but that bear is still on the stage. Guess he was sleeping or something.]

Or turn off the fan. How long d'you gotta last anyways?

... Kanji-kun, this is a game.

[Though, is she saying that to remind him? Or to remind herself?]

I have to make it until six AM. It isn't that far now...

[Hard to tell.]

R-right. 'Course.

You got this, Naoto! Finish this night, then flip the boss the bird!

I can't flip the boss a bird...!

[Wouldn't even if she could because no. Still, when that bell chimes for 6 AM, she just sinks in her seat and exhales. She survived...]

[That's a happy chime. And children cheering. Okay, cool, so the game's over and they can switch to something less creepy or chat with Rise about her choice of leisure games--]

[But then it goes to Night 2. This character goes back for more!?]

You gotta be kidding me!

[Yay, the phone guy congratulates them on night one. ...And tells them that the characters get more active as the week progre-- the week!? Okay, check the cameras while the guy talks, blind spots outside the doors, and... check Pirate Cove. What's a Pirate Cove?]

[Naoto's ready to leave, but there's a Night 2.]

... This person has no sense of self-preservation...

[She was on the mouse again, clicking through the cameras and making sure to go by Pirate Cove. There was a fourth animatronic??]

I swear I'll get Rise-san back for this... And the rabbit and duck are gone already.

Seriously!? [IT'S ONLY MIDNIGHT.]

So ya just use the lights and make sure they don't get too close, right? B-but keep that shit on Pirate Cove!

Don't even wanna know what the hell's in there...

I don't either... I intend to make sure it never makes it this far.

[Better yet, never makes an appearance. She's going through the cameras again, lingering on the cove and then coming back to the office. Checking the hallways, they're empty. She waits, checks the doors and then moves onto the cameras again.]

[Hallways hood, dining room - hi, rabbit - and the kitchen is getting messed with again. But he leans closer when he catches something odd.]

...Th-the curtain...

[It'd opened. Something was inside.]

W-What?

[She missed checking the curtain only for a moment, but sure enough, there was a face and two glowing eyes peering from them. She shivers and switches to continue checking the other rooms, her hand still shaking slightly now.]

[This game was NOT OKAY. What does this one do!? The bunny and duck just kinda chill and show up, bear never moves... but what about this one?]

Remind me never to go to a pizzeria. Do me a favor, yeah?

[A creepy, low laugh. Rule change, the bear CAN move.]

[No no no! The bear is not supposed to be allowed to mooove...]

I will... If anyone suggests ever going to one, I'll-

[But she cuts herself off, squeaking when she sees the duck by the right door. Immediately, she closes it. For a moment, she doesn't do anything, looking down at the keyboard instead. Her face was flushed. Kanji, you heard nothing...]

[Kanji jumps at the squeak, but turns his eyes to the wall as he feels his face burning. H-he was weirded out over this game but right now he couldn't even think much of it, not when faced by a ~~really pretty cu-cute~~ squeak.]

Uhm... uh- good catch.

[Maybe he should offer to play. It'd get her mind off of it. But he wasn't sure if he could manage too much farther. He just wasn't a video game guy.]

[She doesn't say 'thank you' or anything of the sort. Instead, she just... checks the other door and the cameras again, keeping her red face low. It's 4 AM now; the night would be over soon... just a little more.]

[Silence on his end as well, peeking at the screen as he bunched his shoulders in. She might need a hand keeping on eye on the other animals, because the rabbit's coming down the hall and he just doesn't like the glowing eyes between those curtains.]

[She's got this. Now it's 5, but the power's getting a little low. He swallowed. Hold out. Just hold out a little longer...!]

[Naoto's looking around faster, taking less breaks, and hearing laughter now. Checking one of the cameras, oh, FREDDY IS RIGHT IN HER FACE... She decides to close the right door and check the left. Nothing, but... she keeps the door closed in case. Go away Freddy... She already has Pirate Cove to deal with.]

[He jumped in his seat - DO THEY KNOW THE CAMERAS ARE THERE?? But is relieved when the doors are shut. Almost, almost...]

That cove guy. That cove guy he bailed, where-

--huh!?

[Her eyes widened and she checked the cove. She checked the hallway next, saw the fox booking it and jumped back to the room. One door open... she closed it, holding her breath at the banging that ensued.]

[THAT ONE MOVED IT MOVED IT WAS SO MUCH WORSE SEEING THEM MOVE WITH THOSE DEAD EYES.]

...What the hell, how'd the power get so low!?

[... He's right, it did drop low suddenly.]

The fox... must have drained the power. [She didn't have that much time left! Come on, just a little more...!]

2%...! C-can ya check the cameras??

[He's grabbing the edge of the desk and boring holes into the monitor. Hold, you son of a bitch! HOLD!]

I probably should, but at the same time, I want to conserve power as long as I can...!
