When two people come together in a relationship, it's a beautiful thing. What can be wrong with love, right? Right? Except when the union is completely and totally wrong, for whatever reason. Then things can get a little messy.

How To Play
1. Comment with your character, listing their name, canon, etc, along with any preferences.
2. Comment around to others, using the RNG to determine the scenario. It doesn't have to be a lovey-dovey relationship, obviously. There can be hate, sorrow, lust, whatever.
3. Thread! Have fun! Do things!

Scenarios
1. Warring Factions: You belong to rival organizations, armies, clubs, etc. Whatever it is, you're not on the same team.

2. Soldiers on the Battlefield: Or maybe you are on the same side, but this is the wrong time and the wrong place. Plus, attachments cause distractions.

3. Bodyguard and the Guarded: Just like the movie with Kevin Costner! One of you has been hired to protect the other for some reason, and feelings are starting to grow. Are you a professional and cut things off, or do you give in?

4. Prince/ss and Knight: Similar to the above, but with a whole 'nother level of wrong...one of you is royal. Courtly love is okay; still, don't forget your place.

5. Enemies: This vendetta is personal, and you totally hate this person! Don't you? Perhaps you're maybe just rivals, or something as serious as superhero and villain.

6. Family: The ultimate taboo. This person is related to you, so there's no way you should indulge this desire, even if it's the most pure love there ever was.

7. Age Difference: The years between you should keep you both at bay, but it's easier said than done.

10. Teacher/Student: Teachers and students have a unique bond, and to corrupt it is a dangerous thing. Will you dare to act on emotions that could put you both in a destructive place?

11. Already Spoken For: One or both of you are already involved with someone else, but the heart wants what the heart wants. Just know that you can't have your cake and eat it, too.

12. Not Compatible: Your personalities or jobs make it so it's hard for you to be together.

13. Not Compatible...in Another Way: You're both different species, which means you're either afraid to take your relationship to a physical level or you can't because of differences in biologies.

14. Not Ready for Love: You took a vow (or celbacy, of chastity, of dedication), you're married to your work, or you just don't want to be involved with anyone. Too bad!

15. Rich and Poor: One of you has the money while the other is from more modest means. Can the 1% and the 99% ever be bedfellows, literally?

16. Hurt Before: Your heart has been broken, and maybe there's been no time to heal. But here you are.

(tony had always had a rule that he would sleep with the son or daughter of someone he worked with, whether they be an employee of his, or a business partner. even the children of clients he felt were in some ways off limits, even if they were of age and threw themselves at him. it was just a moral thing, because as much as he liked to joke and say that he didn't have any of those, he tried to at least maintain some. besides, he was never one for relationships, and liked to keep things loose. sex was easy. sex was fun, and he wasn't about to let himself get roped into something through blackmail because he slept with someone, and they then used it against him with the threat of going to tell daddy/mommy if he didn't comply. it wasn't worth that.

but how did that apply to past business partners?

Tony had never been particularly close to Bud on a personal level. he worked for him, it was Bud who had signed him on as the chief defence contractor, back in the day when people still weren't sure if he could be trusted, he was so young, they had all said, but Bud had seen the potential in him. therefore Tony had respected him, despite his political affiliation. they'd often joked about it, keeping their relationship surprisingly friendly. therefore Tony had seen a lot of TJ when he was growing up. over the years he had seen him at various functions and parties, and he remembered well when he had come out. the backlash it had caused, the scandal, but he had mostly rolled his eyes at it all. it hardly mattered to him. he'd been asked about it, once upon a time. if he felt betrayed by the president and the white house because of the filthy secret they had kept. Tony had laughed at the reporter to her face, not even bothering to dignify her with an answer. some things were even below him and his sarcastic comments.

technically he had watched him grow up, partially at least, but when he thought about that it made him feel like a dirty old creep and so most of the time he tried to avoid those. but as weird as it sounded, TJ had grown up to become a very handsome man. smart, snappy, talented too, and Tony enjoyed that. he was fun to be around. easy to be around, one could say. things between them were easy. relaxed. even if he occasionally had a twinge of guilt when he met with Elaine, especially if TJ was there.

but here they were, or rather he was, in a penthouse in DC. they'd attended a charity event together, though not together, of course. they had arrived separately, made pleasant small talk here and there, and then left separately. Tony first, Elaine was going to hold a speech and so it was natural that TJ would have to be there for that, and the perfect time for him to slip away. he was waiting on the balcony, he'd taken his tuxedo jacket off, the rest left on for now, sipping a glass of champagne as he waited.)

[ Indeed they are, but it doesn't stop Satoshi from admiring N, does it. After all, he learned a lot from N and vice versa and N was such a great person to befriend as well. So when Satoshi saw N again sometime later he was more than happy to see his friend some more so he could talk to him. ]

While Larva is from a species of supernatural demon-like creatures, shinma, which are usually evil, usually feed on humans in someway (usually some emotion or feeling, occasionally actually eating them, like Dementors almost but way less obvious), and are frequently fatal or otherwise permanently damaging to the humans they feed on in the end.

Prior to the series, Larva was part of a very expansionist, territorial group in Europe that had an excellent means of killing other Shinma, and he often walked among humans/pretended to be one.]
