wow wolfram is just breaking his heart right now

[There might usually be a lighthearted, rent-oriented joke in any other situation, but Terra was immediately thrown off by the sight of Wolfram's room and expression. What in the fuck was going on? Why was he packing? He couldn't even get away with working a hug in or something, Wolfram was already packing again and answering every one of Terra's questions before they could be asked.

Usually he would be fine with letting his friend say whatever the hell he needed to. He never meant any of it, he wasn't cruel on purpose, but the explosion of feelings was about the only way he seemed to know how to cope and, really, Terra wasn't equipped to teach him differently. It was exactly why the back and forth nature didn't get to him. He knew Wolfram threw little fits, but he'd also never said anything to Terra that cut deeply enough, either. While he wasn't going to defend Wolfram's mother - Terra took a rather large issue with the fact that he never saw her around, that she'd never asked to meet him, as far as he knew, but it wasn't his place to say these things. - the love Wolfram had for her was pretty much boundless. Weird as it sounded, there was no way that he would lose his ever loving mind like this if he didn't feel anything for her at all.]

Wolfram.

[Terra had never spoken with so much force, quiet but insisting. Yelling and throwing a fit wasn't going to fix anything, he could say and do whatever he wanted but this was all indicative of a much bigger problem. Unable to stand off to the side without doing anything Terra stood right next to him but picked up the bag and tossed it off to one side, holding Wolfram's arm firmly, as if he might upset himself to the point of collapsing.]

You haven't gone anywhere, alright? You're still here. I'm still here. Take a deep breathe, okay?

[He sounded so much more controlled then he felt. He hated seeing Wolfram like this, hated it because he couldn't really do anything to fix it. The best he could do was to remain constant and hope it had some kind of effect on his live wire best friend, but there was always the lingering sense that it wasn't enough, especially when he was like this.]
