The man in the purple Victorian tweed jacket was slightly hunched, looking at the gate as she said his name. He then slowly looked over his shoulder with a grin on his face. A grin that said she was right on the money.

"You always were a clever one, Sally Sparrow. Did you miss me?"

well that doesn't sound like any fun!

"You look different," Sally says, as she takes a step closer to him. "How did you do that?"

And yes, yes she had. She just never realized that until now.

"Very," she's grinning now. This is insane. It's wonderful and it's insane. "Bet that comes in handy."

"Not that I'm not happy to see you but... what are you doing here?"

"It has... yes." His tone dropped slightly as he paused. Then he brushed it off and gestured to the gate. "This gate. Obviously. Wasn't that the reason why you're here?"

Sally is about to question it further, but decides to avoid the topic. The thing about spending most of your time with old things and avoiding most types of media (both social and the entertainment kind) is you got much better at reading people.

She nods. "I thought I'd try to find the manor. Take some pictures," she pauses. "The woods are supposed to be haunted."
