The Lots of Kisses Meme

It started with a simple four panel template on PIXIV where artists would draw their favorite characters kissing in different ways. From there, it became a DeviantArt sensation, spawning several permutations. But you want to know the truth? The challenges above each box can be used by RPers as prompts, too! That's where this meme comes in. Each of the prompts comes from one of the kiss meme templates or the many other related ones - including one bonus section of odds and ends!

Instead of using lines to draw a scene of two characters enjoying a cute smooch, use lines of prose. And have fun, most of all.

[Really, Billy should be smarter than this by now. He should know going out with Loki usually ends in unexpected ways when there's alcohol involved -- not always terrible ways, of course, but alcohol on dates usually ends in either one of them being decorated, or Loki losing articles of clothes, or... broken furniture, or even worse flirting than usual. You know, things like that.

Tonight didn't seem to be an exception in most areas really.

Billy was enjoying himself for the most part. It was just tonight that he seemed to be slightly more annoyed than usual when someone seemed to take an interest in Loki in whatever club this was that he dragged them off to. Not that it was a surprise or anything. Loki was attractive and Billy tried not to be the jealous type when it came to Loki at least (Teddy could be a different story). Especially not since that one argument they'd had and he wasn't quite comfortable asking for anything like commitment or fidelity from Loki of all people.

Especially when he had a boyfriend at home.

But alcohol and bad decisions go hand-in-hand, and a few more minutes of someone trying to chat Loki up when Billy had gotten up for a minute had him grabbing at Loki's and insisting on dancing or something that wasn't sitting around having more drinks.

He didn't need Loki to be faithful to him or whatever, not when he wasn't with him, but right now? Different story. Way different story.

And this all eventually led to Billy leaning up for a kiss that was maybe a little more than he'd usually give in a public place. He wasn't sure if it was one to ward off any other attempts from others or to remind Loki that he was here with someone already or just because Billy wanted to give him a little reminder that, yes, for whatever crazy reason he really did like this part of what they had too. Maybe it was all three.

Or maybe Billy was just giving into that selfish streak and being stupid. It wouldn't be the first time.

Or maybe it's a distraction from all those little doubts Billy has even where Loki is concerned about holding on too tight when there were probably a lot better people out there.

It was still nice, whatever the case, with his arms wrapped loosely around Loki's shoulders to keep him pressed in close. It's nice to spend a moment just focusing on the way Loki's lips fit against his, the contrast of his cooler skin, and the taste lingering from whatever drinks he had been throwing back at the bar. The kiss itself was deep and lingering, not quite demanding or possessive-- okay maybe a tiny bit on the last, but Billy wasn't trying to go overboard. Hopefully it was a quiet reminder that someone a little bit closer to Loki wanted him and his company and not, you know, just creepy territory.]

[They'd been through so much and sometimes when Billy looked over and saw Teddy still there, still wonderful, he had no idea how he got that lucky. He had no idea how he kept earning chances even after monumental screw up after monumental screw up.

And maybe he was selfish and stupid and Teddy deserved better, but he tried to ignore that voice in favor of much better things.

Like the fact that, despite all that, Teddy still loved him and still wanted to be with him. What could be better than that really? And what else could Billy do but keep trying to improve and be the best boyfriend, the best everything he could possibly be, to Teddy?

And it was stupid and sappy to do (that's exactly what they were anyway, right?), but Billy leaned in after a moment of just quietly watching Teddy as they walked to press a quick kiss to his cheek. He smiled a little when he pulled away and reached for his hand to take it in his own.]
