Do you travel a lot?

Hm, it depends, I suppose. I go where the Crown tells me to, and sometimes that involves a lot of travelling, and sometimes that means staying in one place.

Not as such. I try to fish in a different place every day, so that the fish don't get used to me and so that I don't depopulate the area for anyone else.

Is everyone else you know as concerned about the ecosystems as you are?

It depends on the person and their circumstances, I suppose. But the people I know try to be concerned when we can afford to be. After all, it doesn't do anyone much good to destroy the very thing you depend on.

Are they in the same line of work as you?

Only a few. Most of the people that live around here are refugees.

Uh. Let's see... basically, the Scanrans are usually too busy fighting amongst themselves in their clan wars to really be any kind of threat to us, but last year King Maggur managed to unite all the clans beneath him and focus their attention on us, and that's why it's turned into all-out-war instead of the occasional border skirmish.

And the Crown's objective is to protect the refugees?

Mm, that's right. People who have nowhere to go may turn to banditry. Preventing that is in everyone's best interests.
