A Day at the Beach Meme

So you need a vacation. The weather's nice, so why not hit the beach?



So here are the rules:

1. Comment with your character and put their name and canon in the subject line.
2. Do beach stuff with whoever threads with you. Go tanning. Collect seashells. Have a picnic. Swim. Surf. Visit the little resort. Get stranded at sea in a canoe. Day or night. Do your own thing.
3. There is no need for RNG here, just have fun. :)

Then the dragon overlord best purrepare for a fight to the death. If the fortress goes down, you're going down with it! [And she jabs a finger at Terezi's collarbone.]

[And everyone else wondered why Nepeta enjoys roleplaying so much.]

[Terezi drops her gaze pointedly to Nepeta's finger, not needing to see it to know where it was]

That was either very brave or very foolish. Are you prepared to find out which?

Decisions aren't made without tossing some pawtion to the wind, dragon. I await your purrdict.

[Those once wide and curious eyes now narrowed, flashing with intensity. Nepeta has a few tricks up her sleeve, too, and any decision Terezi makes will have some form of consequence attached.]

[And that decision is apparently a move to try and grab the finger that poked her so that she can then attempt to lick it]

[And Nepeta lets Terezi do as she wishes... only for that to happen.

...And yet, she doesn't blame the other troll so much for doing it, as she blames herself for not anticipating it.]

HEY! Tereziii-!

[The dragon act is dropped as Terezi descends into her familiar cackle of a laugh]

What did you think I was going to do?

...I have no idea what else you would do.

I'm just glad my furtress is sa-AHH!

[And Nepeta learns that, though she was brought up by a feline lusus and possessed enough cat-like qualities, even balance could escape her sometimes...

...as she falls back and crushes her fortress's west wall.]

Aw, whiskers!

[Terezi attempts to catch Nepeta before she falls but is a little too late for that. Instead she kneels down and reaches out a hand]

Perhaps the dragon overlord could assist the noble pouncillor in rebuilding her defences.

[Nepeta sees Terezi's hand and lets out a confident growl. Her gloved hand moves out and takes that of her friend, smirking.]

Only if the dragon overlord is willing to negotiate taxes after construction.

[Terezi pretends to consider this]

I don't know. I mean, she will be investing a lot of her time into this project. Surely she deserves some sort of reward for that.

The noble pouncellor will negotiate rewards once she and the dragon break fur a bit.

[And she nudges her friend with a small giggle. She's quite fortunate that she's dedicated to not breaking character, otherwise she'd be laughing up a storm right about now.]

[Oh she caught that attempt to make her break character and she is not biting]

Very well. But if this turns out to be a trick on the pouncellor's part then the dragon will reserve the right to claim whatever she sees fit as an apology.
