A Day at the Beach Meme

So you need a vacation. The weather's nice, so why not hit the beach?



So here are the rules:

1. Comment with your character and put their name and canon in the subject line.
2. Do beach stuff with whoever threads with you. Go tanning. Collect seashells. Have a picnic. Swim. Surf. Visit the little resort. Get stranded at sea in a canoe. Day or night. Do your own thing.
3. There is no need for RNG here, just have fun. :)

[ WHOAH WHAT!! Now that she was expecting even less, and falls over into the water quite quickly! ] What!? HEY. [ Splash, sputter. Korra then looks at Mako like oh you're going to regret that ]

[grumpiness]

[HE DIVES FOR THE WATER BEHIND HIM, preparing to swim as fast as he can away from her beneath the surface. STRATEGY THINKING!]

[righteousness]

[ WOW MAKO THE CURRENT SURE IS GETTING STRONG AGAINST YOUR SWIMMING. Don't tire out!! In fact, she's trying to have the water swerve to redirect your swimming right back at her. ]

[grumpiness]

[LMFAO WTF THAT'S SO UNFAIR, he... goes limp when he realizes what's happening.] That's so unfair... [He sputters when... water crashes right into his mouth while he mutters that.]

[righteousness]

I told you! This is my territory! [ He like, washes ashore at Korra's legs... ]

[grumpiness]

[I guess that is what happens when Mako reaches her, flat on the sand, facing up with his arms and legs spread apart. There is seaweed piled on his chest. HE JUST LOOKS ANNOYED.]

Ugh...

[righteousness]

[ Korra leans over and begins picking some of the seaweed off of him, laughing the whole way through. ]

Aww! You never even had a chance! [ She leans over to scoop her arms beneath his, trying to sort of pull him up before another wave comes over him. ]

[grumpiness]

[Ew, that's the last time he ever indulges Korra's weird flirting. He helps her help him up by shifting his weight to his feet, though the wave catches them before he's fully up. He makes a face as he gets soaked. Again.]

This is the last time I ever step foot in your element again. [Never mind the fact that the entire world is her element...]

[righteousness]

[ She finally sets him fully on his feet, then shakes some seaweed off of her own leg. ]

At least you're cooled down, right? [ And with that, she turns to go deeper into the water! She wants to go catch some waves! She really wishes Naga were here enjoying the water with her, but she's off with Bolin right now. ]

[grumpiness]

[Bolin is probably using Naga to pick up chicks.]

You're so weird. [Is his only remark as she ventures off, and he feels cold out of the water, so he'll follow her.]

[righteousness]

Don't you love the way that feels? [ Once she's waist deep, Korra takes a little dive into the water, then pops up and flips her hair over in the process. Little Mermaid sytle, but a lot less graceful and beautiful. ]

We can bendsurf, you know! Well, I can bendsurf us, I mean.

[grumpiness]

[Knowing Korra, she'd pull the extreme and have him flying through the air or something.]

No. I'm gonna go for a swim. [He jabs his thumb in the direction he's headed in. He needs to get away from her awkward right now.]

[righteousness]

Oh. Okay! [ She just stares at him, waiting for him to swim off, and looks visibly weirded out... almost in an exaggerated way... ]

[grumpiness]

What? [He gives a slight shrug as he begins to wade away.] You can join me if you feel like it. [IT'S HIS IDEA OF FUN OK.]

[righteousness]

Nah, I'm good over here! [ She turns and dives under the water! ]

[grumpiness]

[He gives a shrug.] Suit yourself. [And he turns to dive as well. GOING TO GO EXERCISE 'CAUSE THAT'S ALL HE DOES FOR FUN. And maybe explore the coral? Idk anything about oceans.]

[righteousness]

[ KORRA SWIMS OFF ON HER OWN but...not for long! She's actually quite quick to get out of the water late, for somebody so eager to be in it and revel in its glory a short while back! She climbs up on to a rock, waterbending some seagull poop off of it before laying down. ]

[grumpiness]

[WELL, when Mako comes up for air, he'll take a look around to see if Korra's anywhere near. His big brother instincts tell him to.]

[righteousness]

[ CATCHING SOME RAYS. Her shirt is now off, bunched up beneath her chest, and she's on her stomach. ]

[grumpiness]

[He doesn't see her, since he's looking out toward the water. TCH W/E he will just flip on his back and float around for a while, thinking this all was a big waste of time.]

[righteousness]

HEY MAKO. [ The water spins Mako around...and makes him look stupid. ]

[grumpiness]

... [This face up at the sky...]

[righteousness]

Heeeellllloooooooooooo? [ Mako starts spinning around faster...

and looks even stupider. ]

[grumpiness]

WHAT? [He flips up to his feet, standing straight up.]

[righteousness]

[ FULLY CLOTHED and standing only a few feet away from him, staring... ] ...Can we fight?
