A Day at the Beach Meme

So you need a vacation. The weather's nice, so why not hit the beach?



So here are the rules:

1. Comment with your character and put their name and canon in the subject line.
2. Do beach stuff with whoever threads with you. Go tanning. Collect seashells. Have a picnic. Swim. Surf. Visit the little resort. Get stranded at sea in a canoe. Day or night. Do your own thing.
3. There is no need for RNG here, just have fun. :)

[ she's whining an awful lot , raising herself up from the sand slowly . grains of sand fall from the tip of her nose -- blinking her eyelids rapidly .

-- she's got sand in her eye !! ]

O-Ouch! Ouch, ouch, owwie!

[Ohh that must hurt really bad.

He bends down on the sand before her with the small bucket filled with water, he just so happened to bring along 'cause what fun id the beach without one, right?]

Here, use some of the water I have so you can get the sand out of your eye.

-- either way , she takes no precautions and messily dumps her hands into the water . naturally , there's sand on her fingers and palms . splashing hands in the water , she leans closer to the bucket and splashes the water in her eye . ]

U-Uwaaah...

[ she's whining still -- but hey , IT ISN'T SALT WATER !!

and she sits there for a few moments , rinsing her eyes out . ]

That really hurt... The sand tripped me!

Laughing, he wasn't sure sand could actually trip you but...] Then that sand is not very nice. Were you playing before you fell in the sand?

[ she blinks a few times , as if to test out if the sand was completely out of her eyes .

. . . good , it was !! ]

Yeah! I was trying to draw in the sand to make a Hopscotch thingy! But then, the sand grabbed my toes and dragged me down!

[ she leans down inquisitively and nears closer to the sand . not a good idea for somebody who just had sand pile into her eyes . ]

Do you think little gnomes live in the sand?

I hope not, I don't want little things coming out of the sand and grabbing me! [No, no, no! Jumping up, he hides behind her. Human shield! You know, just in case she's right and something does come out.]

she prods at the ground with a finger , cheeks filled with air . ]

Hmm... We should dig and see if there are little gnomes in here!

[ she glances behind her . ]

C'mon! We have some digging to do!

[That gets him moving, and now he's all into this idea. Armed with his bucket, he starts scooping up sand, tossing it aside.]

Yeah! We're going to find the little gnomes! Dig! Dig! [Oh, but wait--] Do you want me to get you something to dig with?

[ fist pump !! this is gonna be good !!

she dramatically makes the motion of rolling up her sleeves -- but there are no sleeves to roll up !! dipping her tiny hands into the sand , she shakes her head . ]

Nope! I can use my hands! Just like a doggy!!

[ nod nod . and now she's digging at TOP SPEED !! ]

They dig with their paws! [ and with these paws she will find GNOME CITY ]

Ah, o-okay! [That's a bit weird but oh well, they're on a mission, right?

Following her lead, he keeps digging till he makes a small crater in the ground. Oh yeah! Never mind the people that might be seeing this, or thinking about how strange these two are for doing such antics instead of just enjoying the beach like normal folk.]

even with her lack of discovery in terms of the gnomes living in the sand , she was still determined as ever !! she couldn't give up , because people who set their mind to something never , ever gave up !

once digging deep enough to the point where water began to pool in the moist sand , she leans down once again -- her bangs covering her face . hey , who turned out the lights ? ]

Hellllooooooo!!

[ and she'll just call out to them because lol they will answer okay ]

Helllllooooo!! We come in peace!

[That was a bit funny to watch and curiously, Hunny peeks over her shoulder to get a better look at what she was calling out to.]

...Do you think they want some cake? [Since he thinks that is always the solution somehow.]

[ cake ! she jumps at the mentioning of cake ]

Yeah! I think they want cake! Something delicious and sweet! [ either that or she herself just really wants cake . ]

Then I should get cake for them! Oh, but I want some too...maybe I should bring a big one, then we can eat it too!
