For shits and giggles
Generally speaking, whether you're a humble office worker typing away at your computer or a powerful general leading a space fleet through the stars, everyday life can be serious or just flat out stressful. There's not really much time to stop and smell the flowers. Not much time to have fun or just deal with silly situations.
But what if your life wasn't that way? What if you woke up and the world was just a bit sillier? Or what if a choice you made triggered some kind of chain reaction that made everything in your world a bit stranger...or a lot stranger.
If you've ever wondered this then maybe the gag reel meme is just right for you.

- Post with your character in the comments. Include their name and canon in the subject title. Feel free to put any preferences you want in the actual comment. Feel free to put a starter!

OPTIONS:
1. All you need to understand is everything you know is wrrrroooooonng: The world you woke up to isn't the one you went to sleep in. Oh sure it looks pretty similar, but all the buildings seem just a smidgen off, and the other people around you feel more like they're a parody of themselves. How does it feel to be the straight-man in a world of goofballs?
2. Spectacles of eros: Oh you pissed off the wrong vampire this time, bucko. Though you don't realize it, a pair of incredibly stylish heart-shaped glasses have been put on your face. You cannot feel them and do not notice their presence at all. Other people can see them, however they're more inclined to wrap themselves around you and cuddle you forever.
Or maybe just beat the crap out of each other to have you all to themselves. Then again, it's possible they just want drag you with them by force. Being loved isn't all it's cracked up to be.
3. I'm on a boat and it's goin' fast and: You're the captain of a boat (motherfucker) and all the members of your crew are people you know. Friends, family, allies, enemies, celebs, whatever. Maybe you and the people you know are acting normal, but this boat sure is odd. Maybe it's a giant rubber ducky? A row boat tied a whale? A ghost ship? Or maybe they're acting odd and so are you. Whatever the case the world you're in sure is odd.
4. Dear god not Remix Heart anything but that: Whatever gender or sex you used to be has been swapped around to the opposite! Or maybe someone you know has suffered the curse.
5. ...shit I forgot my lines: RPing characters online is fun, but what happens when the characters screw up the lines you write for them? What if they realize they're characters? Do they form support groups? Demand higher pay? Shout angrily into the sky? Complain about the background music? All of the above? Feel free to play out a scene in canon and make it better! ...or worse.
6. Shit let's be power rangers/super heroes/villians/chibis/zombies/you get the idea: Setting change! Whatever kind of genre or setting your character was once a part of has been changed, with memories and personalities included. Only thing about this setting change is it's more of a parody than anything else...except of course you'll be taking it pretty seriously.
7. No, I'M Spartacus: Bodyswap! Enjoy being in the body of your best friend, worst enemy, or someone you've never met before.
8. Someone please shut me up: For reasons you don't know you just can't stop telling confessions or embarrassing things to other people. Or maybe you can only tell the truth or only lie.
9. I shall avenge you pudding cup: Mundane slights against you and others happen regularly. Someone bumped into you, stole your parking spot, beep the horn at you, ate your last pudding cup. Today, however, you aren't about to take such a slight sitting down. Especially not when the offender is acting like a Saturday morning cartoon villain. You'll do anything to stop them, even if that thing involves going on a hilariously long and tedious journey.
