Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... but on the other hand.

minako had brought him to kyoto with the intention of showing him around; he's never seen this part of the country, and as far as he's concerned, japan as a whole is a very interesting place. after a day spent sight-seeing and generally enjoying one another's company, coming back to the inn with an idea in that devious mind of his really hadn't been on the agenda, but sometimes he can't very well help what comes over him.

The heatwave is still making itself known throughout their part of Boston and the quarantine zone. Who knows how many days it's been now. Either way as much as Tess despises wearing jeans in this stifling heat she's making her way for the tunnels where she told her partner to meet up with her, pausing here and there to get caught up in a small conversation about this or that with those that know her and have some form of news or gossip to pass on. She's got her list of contacts and connections, meeting up with them every so often during the week depending on what they have to tell or offer her.

Tess is running late by roughly ten minutes now. It's never like her to be late but when Cody stops her, pulls her aside to give her the latest scoop on Marlene and a particular shipment and its date of arrival and pick up; Tess has good reason to be a few minutes late.

When she finally makes her appearance, the beam of her flashlight in the distance growing as she gets closer, there's a faint flush on her cheeks from the quick pace she'd picked up to get her ass over to the meet up point. Thankfully the tunnels are always cooler being that they're underground; if they weren't dangerous at night with stray Infected roaming about, Tess would move down here in a heartbeat. She's dressed in a dark tank top and her jeans, sporting her backpack at her back always with an extra set of socks and shirts, some rations, some canned peaches, and of course extra ammunition clips.

"Got held up. How long were you waitin'?" she asks as she moves to the bench tables where they usually keep some extra supplies stashed for trips out of the QZ such as today. The back of her hand swipes at her temple to catch the bead of sweat in mid-trickle, her chest and shoulders and neck all coated in a light sheen, growing sticky on her skin from the cooler atmosphere.

There's only so much blood Kira could take as she ran her hands underneath the hot water pouring from the sink faucet, the water turning red as she scrubbed harder at her skin. She had to get clean, she had to. Her hands trembled as she gripped onto the sink, finally tearing herself away from the scalding hot water as she stared at her reflection in the mirror as she shut her eyes tightly. She drew in a deep breath to try and calm herself, she didn't want to look at the blood that was spattered across her face or the stains on her sweater. The sight of blood was never really something she liked and cleaning herself off in Scott's home was something she hadn't expected to do.

"Scott would it be okay if--" She called out, moving to head out into the hallway before blinking in surprise as she saw Isaac. Kira bit down onto her lip, suddenly going quiet and fidgeting a little as she sidestepped to get out of the bathroom doorway, gesturing a little wildly towards the bathroom. "Sorry, I didn't.. I. Here, you can use it I just finished um yeah!"
