Ship Types I Would Like to Play

Pretty much, this meme is what it says on the tin. Often times, when we want to ship, we have a specific itch we want to scratch: a certain dynamic, a kind of ship, or a scenario we want to play. A general shipping meme is too vague, and you can't get exactly what you want without seeming oddly stifling.

This place is basically a "kink" meme, but with...shipping kinks rather than smut ones? Something like that? It's hard to explain, but you know what it is. Here, you can make connections with those who may want the same scenarios and dynamics you do.

A few general guidelines:

I like sickly codependent relationships that are venomous for both the people involved and those around them. Especially of this variety, but not necessary: already insane guy falls in love with a relatively 'normal' guy who ends up becoming insane right along with him, because of codependent reasons. They fall in love -- 'normal' guy knows it's not exactly 'normal' -- and insane/p much evil guy realizes he's just found someone he loves, so there won't be any letting go. A constant need to breathe/eat/sleep/fuck the other, to the point it interferes with 'normal' guy's 'normal' life to a point where all of his friends urge him to end things. I'm big into violent fun sex, my kink list is endless: consenting bloodplay knifeplay and fucked up sexual acts are a-ok with me. I imagine there'll be a lot of nearly-public sex because, again, both emotionally and sexually codependent. They can both be teenagers or teenager/older male for either end of the spectrum or just adult males. Bonus points if 'normal' guy is ridiculously cute personality wise and maybe bit of an outcast/awkward, and retains that with his new boyfriend even though he's going head first off the other end.

Have two longish-term shipping plots! Both are slow-burn romance and likely to be sweet but emotional.

- I have a character with a supernatural illness/condition that gives him all sorts of body issues. He doesn't even like to take his shirt off around other people and he thinks sex is out of the question. I really want to play out a relationship in which he can learn to open up. It would be cool if the other character also had emotional issues to work through. I've never managed to play out a romance with him but I think it would be M/F. I'd do an M/M relationship too, but I'd have to factor in the fact that he's from a homophobic society.

- I have a character who was born psychic (he has limited mind-reading capabilities but he doesn't know how to turn them off), and then became blind as an adult. He doesn't tell people that he's psychic because people don't like to be around someone who is always hijacking their thoughts. But now that he's gone blind he has to use his psychic skills to navigate the world more. I'd really like to play out a relationship dealing with his disabilities. I'd especially like if he could be in a relationship with another psychic or physically disabled character. Maybe they can learn from each other. The character is canonly straight but I could do M/M as well.

I'd be interested in playing a damaged girl off your first guy. Mine has war trauma and a dead first love to contend with along with a minor scar of her own. It's likely not as bad as what your guy has but it's enough to make her self-conscious about intimacy. A major part of her personality is flirting for self-gain. Once she's done getting what she needs from a guy, she often leaves him cold because she doesn't want to get too close to anyone. I have a lot of fun defrosting her as an ice queen. Having her commiserate with someone similarly damaged could help things along. She's in her early 20's but mature. Medium is anime. Disabilities are my jam as well since my character looks at them less as defects and more as proof that the other character is stronger than she is to be able to bear that sort of burden. I'd really like to play out this sort of villain apprenticeship storyline where one criminally oriented character takes another canonically non-villainous character under his/her tutelage. Think Stoker in that there was always something dark in the other character all along that the villain brings out so no purely innocent types! Doesn't have to be about murder or killing. Could be partnership in cons, could be in political scheming.

I play from pretty much all mediums and I'm open to m/f, f/f and m/m. I can play either role.

i'd like to play anything reminiscent from a shoujo manga storyline. one idea that i have is a slow-burn romance, where they argue and fight and bicker with a lot of namecalling and insults thrown around. both of them have their own issues to deal with and their arguments are basically defense mechanisms to prevent the other from prying or getting involved in it. but they can't help but get attached to each other anyway, so even though they're fighting, they have these affectionate and/or ust moments.

i play mostly from anime and manga and lean towards m/f but willing to do m/m as well.
