This is possibly the dumbest limp-wristed flail fight you've ever been involved in.

Because why would you beat someone into the ground when you can humiliate them with your massive intellect instead?

You're
fighting to improve. Whether you know your partner or whether you've
just met, you can be pretty sure you're walking away from this one.

Your hated rival is in town. It's time for a rematch.

Welcome to the mother of all drunken brawls.

ROUND 7: YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS!
Maybe

you're a pacifist. Either way, you're in this fight, but you really
don't want to be.

This is it. Too much has happened for this to be anything but a fight to the end. Only one of you is walking away from this.

Round 1: Verbal
"Are you freaking kidding me?!" Sara pretty much exploded the second she got into the room. Fists clenched, expression livid, she looked like she was ready to evicerate someone, which knowing her, was a distinct possibility. Than again, it had been an age since something had so thoroughly infuriated her. Losing her temper wasn't something that was easy to get her to do, but boy, this time she felt more than justified to lose her cool.

"You said, and I quote: 'Hey, don't worry about it, Sara. Got it all covered.' You know what? This does not look 'covered' to me!" Gripping the edge of the table, her knuckles bled white and if one looked closely it was easy to see just how tense she was. Then again, it was to be expected with a cock-up of this magnitude. "If you couldn't handle it, you could've just told me that you couldn't. Fucking. Handle it! But no! You had to play hero and look where that's got us! Who the hell is gonna fix this mess now?!"

Slamming her fist on the table, she whirled, throwing her hands in the air in complete aggravation. "This is really great. Really really great. Thanks a lot, moron."

Round 4: Sparring
Grinning, Sara stepped onto the training mat, raising her batons, ready for the first move. It had been an age since she'd been able to let loose and push the boundaries of what she could do. Sure, fighting street thugs and gangbangers was great and all, but the problem with them was they weren't exactly a challenge. A little exciting when they came at her a dozen or so at a time, but to someone with her training? It was all almost boring. It wasn't so much that she enjoyed the fighting, but testing her limits was always fun, knowing things and not getting the chance to use them, or putting yourself in situations you got out of far too easily made a person rusty, and in this business you couldn't afford to be rusty.

"C'mon, I've been looking forward to this all week. Try to keep up, huh?" She smirked flicking her weapons toward herself in the universal gesture for 'bring it on.'

Round 6: Bar Fight
One of the upsides of working behind a bar was that you got to meet all kinds of people, and if you were the bartender? They tended to talk to you. Her regulars were already there and Verdant was pounding. It was shaping up to be a good night. Really, if Oli had talked about starting up a nightclub six years ago? Odds are she would have laughed, the Oli she knew back then couldn't have run a lemonade stand let alone a thriving business. She had to hand it to him though, the place he'd built was buzzing and if the crowd pulsing inside and the line curling around the block were any indication? Verdant was going to be around for a long time.

One of the downsides of working behind a bar though, was that you got to meet all kinds of people, like the asshole on the dancefloor now on his third round of 'Grope an Ass,' it looked like he was going for the high score too. Probably another person who'd had too much to drink, put him in a suit and tie, drop him in an office and he was probably a stand up guy. Some people just didn't know their limits.

The closest bouncer seemed a little busy being distracted by a pretty little number in a tight dress, so with a sigh, she slid out from behind the bar and wove through the undulating crowd until she was behind the guy.

Setting a hand on his shoulder, she raised her voice to be heard over the music. "Hey man, I think that's enough fun, huh? Why don't you call it a night and I'll get you a cab home?"

Round 7: You Don't Have to Do This
The door crashed open, swinging through its complete arc in an eyeblink and slamming against the wall behind it. Stepping in weapons already in hand Sara glanced around the room, taking in every exit, every spot where a potential attacker could be hiding. It seemed quiet enough, yet that was never any real indication of the danger level. Turning her head she caught a figure stepping out of the shadows into a pool of light cast by a slowly swinging overhead lamp. Her eyes widened and she could feel her pulse suddenly racing, her heart jumping into her throat and she forced herself to swallow it down again.

Stunned, she took a half step back before remembering the situation and stopping, planting her feet solidly again and forcing a deep breath through her seemingly blocked airway. There was no way, there was absolutely no way. It didn't make any sense, she knew them and they would never do this. Not for anything. There had to be some reason, something being held over them, right? There was no way they were doing any of this willingly.

"I don't know what's going on, but whatever it is, you don't have to do this. If they've got something on you we can beat them, just stick with me, we can do it together. Okay? Don't do this." Please listen to me she silently begged, searching their eyes for any sign of acceptance.

"Please don't do this."

Barbara smiled. There would have been rumours that the redhead was Batgirl herself if it wasn't for the fact that Robin made a very good stand-in Batgirl, and on three occasions she'd been photographed in the same place as her costumed alter-ego. And Sara was one of the few people she went all out against - which is why there was no audience, and the cameras mysteriously weren't working.

Her smile turned crooked as she looked at Sara, tonfa on one arm and a utility belt round her waist. It wasn't quite full Batgirl fighting style. "I've been looking forward to this too." And she threw a small smokebomb hard into the ground with her left hand, and disappeared into the cloud. First time she'd pulled that on Sara, but she was never going to win by fair means so she was breaking out some of her arsenal. With any luck Sara would come forward towards the smoke.

[He'd come into the bar expecting to have a few drinks and maybe roll a few dice. The subsequent verbal sparring between him and a very hairy man with bad teeth and a false leg (over who had the better ship, naturally; what else would pirates fight about?) was also not unexpected.

What he hadn't expected was to find himself back-to-back with this man fighting off a group of angry townsmen who were tired of thieves and criminals overrunning their harbor. 'Any port in a storm' quickly morphed into something along the lines of 'the enemy of me enemy is my friend' and they found themselves allied against an angry horde mostly armed with farming implements. Luckily for the two of them, most of the men had no experience in battle at all and are therefore no match for two angry pirates.
