It's in the middle of a nice can of tea and read of Witch Detective (in which he'd finally mustered up the courage and diligence to resolve to finish it today) when the bombardment of texts make their way onto his phone. He waves them off dismissively at first, but after visibly cringing at what was on the next page (he's reached the climax he thinks, because the vampire is confessing undying love to the good detective) and he figures, maybe he really ought to read who was messaging him so persistently and why.
… What he reads comes as both surprising and unsurprising. Surprising in the way that Yosuke didn't have the foresight not to leave Teddie with his own devices and unsurprising in the way that it was, well, Yosuke. He ends up smiling wryly and gives his book a last not-so-forlorn glance, before folding a corner in a page. It could wait. Definitely.
So in about ten minutes time, after a reply of 'Give me a moment, I'll be there soon.' Souji will be standing in front of the other boy's door, going 'Knock, knock.' … Both literally, and on the door.
no it's perfect!! c:
