Jealousy is an ugly trait, you know.

People have different levels of comfort when it comes to their significant other or person they're with. Some trust implicitly, knowing that nothing will come between them. Others try to be tolerant, though supposed hints keep them feeling uneasy. Still others, being hurt in the past, can take every little thing as a slight.

However, there isn't much wiggle room when someone makes a pass at your lover right in front of you.

And, to top things off, your partner didn't react with the right amount of disgust. Maybe they were trying to be friendly and polite, and surely they HAD to realize that they were being flirted with. It was a complete bald-faced attempt.

Even if you're the most patient, understanding person in the world, this has to get your dander up. Nobody would expect otherwise. So, how will things go down from here? Will you try to get over it? Repress it and let things bubble out into passive aggression? Get angry? That last one may make matters worse -

Oh, forget it. Did you see the nerve on that one?

[ This was supposed to be a nice outgoing and due to time restraints of each of their parts, it was really long overdue between them. And really so far, Rinoa considered that it was going acceptably enough and she had no reason to complain.

She blinked a bit startled when she was served a fancy looking drink, on the house or so the waiter told them, and she smiled in thanks. It was quite lucky they had gotten such a nice waiter; the man had been quite attentive of them. ]

[Rei is very tense when the drink arrives at the table, clenching both his teeth and his fists. He had tried his best to write off the overly-friendly waiter as merely that -- friendly -- but this was a step too far.]

And is that a bad thing? I mean, we are supposed to tip him not and won’t it be better for him to be nice to us.

He was chatting up a rather cute guy, Stiles wasn't blowing it or anything, when someone appeared behind and just to the left of Stiles causing the guy he was chatting up to pause. Stiles blinked and turned his head to see Derek glaring down the guy he was talking to.]

[There was a growl in his tone before he just pulled Stiles close, kissing him heatedly. He was making his intentions clear.]
