[Okay. Whether Caroline wanted to admit it or not, Klaus had done a lot for her over the time that she had known him. Sure, he had done some evil, horrible things, too, but he had also saved her life numerous times. That wasn't even counting all of the times he came to her just because she had asked him to. It took until he left for her to see that she should have at least thanked him.

Things back in Mystic Falls weren't exactly going swimmingly. Their last rendezvous had caused a bit of a stir within her friends. So it seemed like the perfect opportunity to escape her hometown for a week and head out to New Orleans. Caroline had gotten there no problem, but was impressed with all of the hustle and bustle of the city. She hadn't ever seen it before! Mystic Falls wasn't exactly a huge place for culture and sight seeing. Locating Klaus in the city was easier than she expected. A bit of wandering brought her right to the building where he was supposed to be staying.

Caroline fished her phone out of her pocket and sent him a text. She hadn't even told him she was coming, so this was sure to be a surprise. The text read:]

Bitterblue has had her share of paperwork to go through and a combination of boredom and restlessness makes her grab a plain cloak and head outside. She wants to go back to the tavern where a Graceling has been telling engaging tales and stories for the ready audience settling down from a hard day of work. As the sovereign of Monsea, Bitterblue may seem to rule from a seat that seems distant to her citizens, but unknown to most of them, she has a tendency to mingle.

She enters the tavern which is filling up with people and the story teller Graceling was in his usual place. Bitterblue takes her hood off and takes a seat although she's glancing back and forth as if trying to find someone.]
