Krauser makes his living as a mercenary, which is a pretty lucrative job. Coupled with his tendency to live in a manner that could generously be described as "Spartan" and he has more than enough cash lying around to invest. Not in business or in anything legitimate, of course- he's "generous" enough to loan money every now and then, to anyone who's not too terrified to borrow from him.

Of course, the problem comes when people don't pay him back, even with his fairly rare appearances in town. Then he has to get a little stern.

But he's not an unreasonable man. He's willing to take other forms of repayment. And when the "client" is a young man who owes Krauser $5,000 he can't pay back, Krauser just might have a few ideas on how to accomplish that.

"So those are your choices. You've got 'til next week to give me my money. Or..." He toys with the knife in his hands, a nervous habit. "You can work it off. Tonight."

Sikozu was sure she had been wearing a skirt at some point, and an undergarment as well. But with pots and pans and a half prepared mean arrayed out on the counter behind her, the clothing that had covered her up from the waist down was not the only thing to have been forgotten now. The steel countertop was cold against her skin, only now slowly warming up with her rising body temperature. He, on the other hand, was already warm, all clothing and body heat and very inviting and she wrapped her legs around him and leaned back, just a bit, to look up at his face.

"Hello," she whispered cheekily, smiling up at him.

The feel of his hand, large and strong, against her bare leg and barely clothed back made her inhale softly as her muscles tensed, her back stretching, her legs pulling at him, just a bit. She tilted her head, watching his eyes all along, and brushed her lips against his lightly. A butterfly kiss, a tease, an invitation.

A hard, insistent knock on her flat door breaks her out of deep concentration on reading a colleague's latest research article they plan on presenting at the next pathologist's conference. A forgotten glass of red wine sits on the table in front of her and the rest is all work papers.

She pads down the hall in her slippers, pulling her robe just a bit tighter around herself as she looks through the peep hole.

While it isn't the first time Sherlock Holmes has shown up at her door unannounced, it was certainly the first time since he had come back to life. At least this time he doesn't look haggard and too skinny and like the weight of the world is on his shoulders.

She immediately pulls the door open.

"Sherlock," she says. "You're out and about late."

Stripping naked and fucking in a semi-public stairwell had not actually been in Sikozu's plan for the day. Then again, in her experience, things rarely go to plan.
