THE SLAP-SLAP-FUCK MEME
When characters spend a lot of time bickering, it is all but inevitable that sooner or later one will interrupt the other in mid-rant by suddenly grabbing them and kissing them. The kissed one rarely resists, and usually responds wholeheartedly.
Usually this is triggered by their hostilities reaching a climax, followed by a moment where both stare at each other in combined confusion and shock, after which they dive into the kiss.
Either way, the kiss prompts both to realize that they've been in love all this time — the rationale being that they wouldn't argue so much if they didn't give a damn about each other. Normally results in some kind of permanent change in their relationship.
In this meme, we're taking that concept one more
Maybe you and this person have been at each others neck forever, in a sort of dance of belligerent sexual tension. On the other hand, you could be friends that get along swimmingly, but right now you're just irritated. Or it's something in between - or even obvious love. At any rate, you're in a will-they-won't-they relationship, with it being clear you care about the other...or at least it being clear to everyone around you. Get a room, you two.
Despite the meme name, no physical violence need be involved. Actually, real arguments need not be involved, either. One of the characters could be upset, crying, sarcastic, giving the other the silent treatment. There just needs to be tension that erupts into lip-on-lip contact...that leads to skin to skin contact. If you know what you mean.
So what brought you here? Jealousy? Anger at someone for being so reckless? Them ignoring you? Being angry you care so much about them? Whatever the case may be, it's looking less and less important. What does matter is where you go from here. Denial? Confessions...
Sex!
HOW TO PLAY
- Comment with your character and preferences.
- Every character is invited to come and play. Even if your character is the most coolest of cucumbers or the biggest loving moeblob of all time, there has to be something that would bring them here. Feel free to leave a few words that help you be accessible to cross-canon tagging.
- Play out the thread.

Probably because she was not, well, human any more- not a human in a pseudo-fiend, just a pseudo-fiend in their rightful place. Her left arm (? Arm?) unavoidably did most of the work, now. Anything that wasn't human was stronger; better senses, versatility, speed, intuition. And she can sense someone around the corner, now, something that would've come in so handy when she was human- someone she knew.]
Naoki.
[Was he training too? Well, it's not like she'll just walk past and pretend she didn't notice him.]
gonna be a looooooot of slapping in this one XD
Only when Naoki dodged a midair blow did he spot Chiaki. Eyes widened. What was shr doing here? Nonetheless, he called back his demons, abruptly ending the training session.]
Chiaki!
slapping ain't even gonna be the start of it
She's missed her friends. There's a reason she left them all so early whenever she saw their face, though- the first time, it was because she was numb all over, and the last thing she wanted to do was pull him down. But Chiaki recognized that bonds before the Conception, all those things... they were obsolete now. Unnecessary.] I see you've been working.
[What's the difference between her and him, really? Why can she have a Reason, and he can't? She isn't complaining, but... there's a bit of a worry.] ...Even this world has to come to its end, soon enough. The Demi-Fiend... that's the name you were given.
>_> always wanted this
Listen, it doesn't have to be this way. There's a way we can reverse all this and get things back to normal. If you and Isamu can just listen--
me too tbh
This way? [Really, the first thing that catches her attention and unintentionally angers her is how he lumps her and Isamu into the same group.] So, you're more human than they give you credit for... then you can listen to me, as well.
[She walks a bit closer, right arm (which is the arm, now?) still twitching. She's been keeping it under control, but it's really only useful for combat- mundane little controls like picking up objects without intent to slam them into walls still evades it.] What if I don't desire the world to go back to normal?
<3
[Where the weak shall die...he didn't like death in general. And he even saw good demons die too. Not pleasant at all.]
I know this world can make people a bit...different, obviously considering what we've become, but these aren't changes for the better! Have you both just forgotten about Hikawa?
[Lord knows he hasn't. But thanks to those demons, he couldn't even get close to him.]

Oh, Naoki, she's subconsciously- or consciously- sticking her right arm out even more. A bit different, Naoki? Never that good with worlds, but still.] ...Still? You still won't accept it- even after seeing the Vortex World, after experience power and eradication... how hopeless naive can you be? [...Breathe. She isn't that mad, not yet. She'll get his approval later- not that she needs it.]
Hikawa was a misled instigator. But even without him, the Conception would have occurred eventually. That's what the Scripture of Miroku says.
[Or, at least, what she thinks it says. She's heard about it- read it in that one magazine, before shit went to hell- but the prophetic tale that caused them to be knee-deep in death and demons now was still far away from her.] The Conception... it's a chance to remake the world. A better world, one that will last longer, one that does away with the ugly mess that riddled the old, the ugly mess that brought it to its death... and you dare suggest to simply go back to it again?

[He had given this stuff more thought than everyone gave him credit for. But it wasn't as if he could choose his own version. Only the ones with reasons could be followed, which is why Ms. Takao's was the only reason he could follow.]
And yeah, it's inevitable, but we have the power to reverse it. Don't you want to go back to normal, without any of this chaos!? I...I don't want us to fight.

[Even your right to live. She's standing even closer, looking him in the eye- with that black patch over her mouth and the dim lighting, it could almost be missed that she was smirking, just the tiniest bit.] Hear yourself now... what you want from your own weakness doesn't necessarily translate to what the new world needs! Living in the past long gone, desiring things everything has moved away from... I have no desire to fight you myself, Naoki.
[She stretches her- left arm- out to him.] Join me, won't you? You know the importance of strength and evolution in a place like this. I doubt you would've survived if you didn't adapt. We can make a world where only beautiful things need exist...

[The fight to keep up hope was weak now. Seeing his friends turn into fiends, into beings he was seeing as even more evil than Hikawa. At least Hikawa thinks he is bringing a form of peace. Whatshe proposed...]
I refuse to let your reason be the one to succeed. Or anyone else's for that matter. Hikawa proposed killing reason to live, and your just going to eliminate others for not being apart of your damn master race! Since when did you become the next Hitler now!?
[His eyes widen a bit at his own insult....well, that might have killed any chance he had at talking to her.]

[Down with the rich children back at home, with tuition her parents couldn't dream to afford, even with their own privileges- enough with the ones who could advance the world, spitting into a cup on the streets- enough with everything that was wrong, and make everyone pay, for making her work so hard...!] Perhaps you may have your own Reason to uphold... but I won't allow you to waste the Conception away with a whimsical desire to return back to normal!
[Marvelous, Naoki, you've basically stuck your hands in the beehive and accidentally killed the queen. She lunges at him, blackened runes extending faster than her actual form's movement. Her extended arm was gone almost immediately, whipping back into place as though she was slitting someone's throat.]

[An energy sword forged in Naoki's hand, and he braced himself for the impact. He still wasn't sure what she could do, and he couldn't risk summoning his demons, less they kill her accidentally. He wanted her alive.
This wasn't like the fantasy games he played, or the stories he has read where the hero saves everyone. Not even being able to help anyone was truly making him feel helpless.]

-when she slams her hand against him to try to pin the Demi-Fiend against a wall, she ends up with a sword haphazardly stuck into the blackened mess. Wincing just a bit, she retracts slightly and uses her human arm to force his shoulder away from her.]
Why do you hold back?! I've seen you with faster reflexes! [Oh, no, he must be delusional if he thinks she'll assume the best about him. She knows he's stronger than her- he probably knows, too. He's pitying her, isn't he? Wanting to help her... that just made her lust for power more.]
no subject
[Eyes shine brightly as he said that. He needed to knock her out, and fast.] Spiral Viper!
[The mass of energy surges from his eyes, hoping enough force could be used to knock her down. Just had to learn to hold back. By himself, that should be easy to do. Hopefully...]

Don't rush into battle, Chiaki- you're not invincible, Chiaki-] Don't think you've won! [When she stumbles back, there's immediately energy gathering in her hands- it seems she's intent on fighting.]
Megidola!

Fog exited his mouth, suddenly filling the area quickly. Couldn't hit what she couldn't see.]
