Looks like the weather forecast was right; it's absolutely pouring! And most people are complaining about the sudden downpour.
But forget those negative nellies! Just post a comment with your series name and character name as usual, as well as any other notes you wish to add, then pick a prompt using the RNG and get started!
1. OMG RAIN!!!
Rain is just the BEST THING EVER, RIGHT?! Well, that's what you think and you're determined to have a good time. Either going for a walk or splashing through puddles or even just sitting around and getting wet, you're going to milk every second of this rain and drag your friends along for the ride.
2. FUCK YOU, RAIN.
Oh god, it's raining. This just completely ruins your day. Maybe you were planning to go shopping but the roads are still flooded up, or because the school closed thanks to the storm, you need to hire a last minute babysitter for your kids. Whatever the reason for it, you're not pleased about this rain and you don't care what anyone else thinks.
3. RAIN SIEGE
Oh lord, it looks like you're stuck inside. It's raining too hard for you to even think of leaving! Will you make a daring escape in a ridiculous raincoat or will you just give up and watch TV? But what if you run out of snacks? Or the TV reception dies?!
4. A WALK IN THE RAIN
Nothing like the sound of rain beating against your umbrella, right? You don't really care either way about the chaos and even though it's chilly, the one thing you want to do today is head out for a walk in the rain and maybe grab a hot chocolate on the way back.

Hindsight was 20/20 though and they had to press on. He mopped at his notes, managing to dry them enough to show the translation.
"All who enter...will leave this world...or it could be enter another world I'm split on that one." He follows with his finger along the glyphs. Some of them were too worn to see anymore. "There was a gemstone with the map but..." Daniel looks up ruefully. "...one of our dead companions is holding it just inside the entrance."
Obviously they hadn't used it right.

Something catches his eye and he tilts his head to get a better look. "I think be onto something. Take a look at this." He slides the pieces together. Though their edges are worn with the smallest differences, the sandstone pattern lines up perfectly. "The stars spoken aloud... to cross the distance... and walk among them..."
The a gust of wind blew open the tent flap, causing the pages to rustle. Jones looks up at Daniel, a smile across his lips. "As soon as the rain clears... we're getting that gemstone. See what this is all about."

"That's good...but what does it mean?" They weren't going to find out standing around here. But when Indy says they were going in, Daniel looked up in worry. "...we are?" Oh good. Going into the dangerous possibly lethal burial chamber. Even Daniel can't help a pre-emptive gulp at that thought. "I'll, um, I'll get a few torches...." he pawed at the pocket of his vest, pulling out a red bandana in time to catch a sneeze.
"ACHHOOOO! ...allergies, sorry, happens when I travel," he apologized, sniffling into his handkerchief before going off to get the torches. Already the rain was starting to slacken. But it was still plenty overcast. Even as they approached the dig site.
Sorry for the delay. Night-Morning shifts...
The entrance had clearly been a finely carved sandstone structure. The majority of evidence to its finery had slowly been eroded away over the years. With cautious, slow steps they entered, stooping slightly to manage the low entrance caused by the layers of sand on the floor.
Indy switched on a flashlight, a borrowed piece of equipment that felt oddly out of place in his hands. The beam pierced the darkness like a knife and there, not fifteen feet ahead of them, the corridor ended. Beneath the far wall a tiny trickle of red snaked its way towards the entrance, pooling in what looked to be a footprint. Indy cringed and swept the rest of the corridor with his flashlight. "Didn't get very far..." He quipped, more to himself than anything. He quickly turned to Daniel and added a sympathetic, "Sorry."
likewise, caught the flu :S
"I guess they didn't..." This was such a bad idea. He flicks the light around, trying to read the inscriptions on the walls.
There's a faint breeze coming through the ancient tunnel...from the inside. Slightly spooky.
