Looks like the weather forecast was right; it's absolutely pouring! And most people are complaining about the sudden downpour.

But forget those negative nellies! Just post a comment with your series name and character name as usual, as well as any other notes you wish to add, then pick a prompt using the RNG and get started!
 

1. OMG RAIN!!!

Rain is just the BEST THING EVER, RIGHT?! Well, that's what you think and you're determined to have a good time. Either going for a walk or splashing through puddles or even just sitting around and getting wet, you're going to milk every second of this rain and drag your friends along for the ride.

2. FUCK YOU, RAIN.

Oh god, it's raining. This just completely ruins your day. Maybe you were planning to go shopping but the roads are still flooded up, or because the school closed thanks to the storm, you need to hire a last minute babysitter for your kids. Whatever the reason for it, you're not pleased about this rain and you don't care what anyone else thinks.

3. RAIN SIEGE

Oh lord, it looks like you're stuck inside. It's raining too hard for you to even think of leaving! Will you make a daring escape in a ridiculous raincoat or will you just give up and watch TV? But what if you run out of snacks? Or the TV reception dies?!

4. A WALK IN THE RAIN

Nothing like the sound of rain beating against your umbrella, right? You don't really care either way about the chaos and even though it's chilly, the one thing you want to do today is head out for a walk in the rain and maybe grab a hot chocolate on the way back.

[Fair enough. He'll trust your judgement on this one, partner. He takes the offering, using the index finger of the hand holding the coffee to pull the tab rather than drop the coin in his pocket. He starts to take a sip when Yosuke brings up entrance exams, and nearly swallows it wrong in surprise.]

I'm all for being prepared, but you don't think it's a little soon? Let's finish second year first, at least.

[He's more surprised that it's Yosuke thinking this far ahead than he is about anything else.]

Well, they do say that if you start earlier you have a better chance.

[Besides, spring break is right before the start of the next school year, so it's not that early. But Yosuke notices that surprise and gives him a sheepish look before taking a long sip of coffee.]

...Y'know, not everyone can whiz through tests like you can. [grin.] And the there's more competition for the more urban colleges. [aka, the better ones.]

I guess that's fair.

[The compliment makes him chuckle, just a little.] Still, you don't give yourself enough credit. I wouldn't be surprised to see you ace a few yourself, if Junes didn't cut into your study time.

[He still remembers who it was that pieced together what was going on with the Midnight Channel first, after all, and it wasn't himself.]

Yeah, right. [He snorts at that, thinking back on all the awful midterms he's had to suffer through so far in high school. Plus, of course Junes will cut into his time - that's just life.]

You know, before everything started with the murders, I thought even more about the future than I do now. But it was because I wanted to get out of here, and get back to the city - not really because I was that excited for college. I hate school, you know?

[The rain is falling hard and loud against the roof of the store. Yosuke spares a look towards the door again and sighs.]

Now I'm not really sure if I want to go somewhere too far from Inaba. [glances back at him.] Although I guess you'll probably go somewhere in the city.
