Looks like the weather forecast was right; it's absolutely pouring! And most people are complaining about the sudden downpour.

But forget those negative nellies! Just post a comment with your series name and character name as usual, as well as any other notes you wish to add, then pick a prompt using the RNG and get started!
 

1. OMG RAIN!!!

Rain is just the BEST THING EVER, RIGHT?! Well, that's what you think and you're determined to have a good time. Either going for a walk or splashing through puddles or even just sitting around and getting wet, you're going to milk every second of this rain and drag your friends along for the ride.

2. FUCK YOU, RAIN.

Oh god, it's raining. This just completely ruins your day. Maybe you were planning to go shopping but the roads are still flooded up, or because the school closed thanks to the storm, you need to hire a last minute babysitter for your kids. Whatever the reason for it, you're not pleased about this rain and you don't care what anyone else thinks.

3. RAIN SIEGE

Oh lord, it looks like you're stuck inside. It's raining too hard for you to even think of leaving! Will you make a daring escape in a ridiculous raincoat or will you just give up and watch TV? But what if you run out of snacks? Or the TV reception dies?!

4. A WALK IN THE RAIN

Nothing like the sound of rain beating against your umbrella, right? You don't really care either way about the chaos and even though it's chilly, the one thing you want to do today is head out for a walk in the rain and maybe grab a hot chocolate on the way back.

[Pippin's still shivering, from the top of his curly head to the bottom of his woolly toes. The rain hasn't stopped for hours, and of course Gandalf is insisting they keep moving instead of taking shelter for a bit. Merry quickly grows tired of Pippin's complaining, and the hobbit instead catches up to walk beside Boromir, looking up at the tall Man.]

Oh, what I wouldn't give for a fire to warm my toes!

[It is a bitter rain, cold enough to seep past armor and cloth and nestle in against bone like chips of ice. Boromir is no stranger to bad weather, and indeed it is not so long past that he had been under the gale of a vicious storm ere reaching Rivendell. Still, it has been long enough, and Boromir is not strong enough to fight off the irritation and discomfort that comes with being soaking wet and cold and moving without cease for hours. He has not reached Pippin's level -- for even Boromir at the end of the line could hear that piping voice complain! -- but it is perhaps not far off yet.

Still, he greets the hobbit with a small curve of a smile, and shortened strides so that he might keep up easier.]

Ach, aye! [A laugh, more a sigh than anything.] And a warm meal mightn't go amiss either, my friend.

[Pippin is glad to have a friend in the Man. Boromir's laugh is a lovely sound, and he seems far more willing to befriend the hobbits than some of the others.

Boromir slows his pace and Pippin is grateful for it, trudging alongside him and giving him a small smile. His curls are plastered down to his face, his clothes soaked through.]

Or two! I don't know how you people live, only two or three meals a day. It's unnatural.

The skies had practically opened up and dumped their contents onto the woods. While this drenched any creature who happened to be abroad, it served the Hulk well in hiding. No one out and only lightning to see by, the hulking green figure angrily plunged through the forest.

He slowed down a bit, coming to the base of a mountain. There seemed to be a few caves here and Hulk lumbered up to the largest one. It wasn't much, but it would be enough to get out of the rain.

That is, if it wasn't inhabited.
