Looks like the weather forecast was right; it's absolutely pouring! And most people are complaining about the sudden downpour.

But forget those negative nellies! Just post a comment with your series name and character name as usual, as well as any other notes you wish to add, then pick a prompt using the RNG and get started!
 

1. OMG RAIN!!!

Rain is just the BEST THING EVER, RIGHT?! Well, that's what you think and you're determined to have a good time. Either going for a walk or splashing through puddles or even just sitting around and getting wet, you're going to milk every second of this rain and drag your friends along for the ride.

2. FUCK YOU, RAIN.

Oh god, it's raining. This just completely ruins your day. Maybe you were planning to go shopping but the roads are still flooded up, or because the school closed thanks to the storm, you need to hire a last minute babysitter for your kids. Whatever the reason for it, you're not pleased about this rain and you don't care what anyone else thinks.

3. RAIN SIEGE

Oh lord, it looks like you're stuck inside. It's raining too hard for you to even think of leaving! Will you make a daring escape in a ridiculous raincoat or will you just give up and watch TV? But what if you run out of snacks? Or the TV reception dies?!

4. A WALK IN THE RAIN

Nothing like the sound of rain beating against your umbrella, right? You don't really care either way about the chaos and even though it's chilly, the one thing you want to do today is head out for a walk in the rain and maybe grab a hot chocolate on the way back.

Terra was happy for the warmth. Her cheeks turned to a rosey pink as she watched the fire dance.

"Thats fine. Thank you." Terra looked around the shelter suddenly curious about her savior.

She scoots around the fire a little getting more comfortable. Terra then looked at him. "You like traveling? where have you been?"

[OOC: It's alright! Take as long as you need /hugs RL comes first. Or if you ever wanna start something else lol.]

"A lot of places." With his attention no longer occupied, Aether seemed to quickly deflate. He flopped onto the blankets, his steel-blue hair fanning out into a feathered halo, and took a deep breath. Although tall and muscular, he moved in a manner that kept his weight from overtaking his movements. Everything was balanced and calculated in a manner that reflected not a drifter, but rather someone experienced at using his body.

A quick look through the tent revealed to be true. Tucked to the side of the heavy bag, were a crossbow and a sheathed sword. Both were heavy military weapons, the sword's sheath covered in numerous scratches that suggested many years of use. Notably, the guard on the sword's hilt looked cracked in the place where such a weapon would normally house the Imperial crest, as if something was violently torn from it.

But as for Aether, he didn't seem all that concerned with her curiosity. He splayed out on the blankets like a stray cat that just found himself a temporary home, eyes focused on the dancing fire in front of him.

"One day, I started walking and never looked back. I've been traveling since."

Terra is starting to have a clear vision in her mind about her companion and he seems interesting compared to her. She couldn't remember everything about her past. She just had to keep running from her keeper.

She suddenly felt self conscience and pulls her feet closer to her. Her magic was the source of her troubles and she needed to keep it a secret. Her mind felt overloaded by her thoughts and she realized her silence might be taken as an insult.

"Um... is it alright if I sleep here? Until the rain passes anyway?" He seemed comfortable here but with the cold and her aching feet Terra just wanted to lay down and rest.

The wanderer, on the other hand, found his company to be infinitely interesting. A lone woman, traveling this far off the beaten path because she was apparently lost. She seemed a little hesitant. Hiding something? Or simply shy? All the questions born out of curiosity and left in the back of his mind, where he would abandon them until answers naturally came his way.

Fleeting encounters on the road, traded smiles and half-faded memories. That was the way Aether liked people.

"You can stay here as long as you want." He put on the most comforting smile he could manage while splayed out in that lazy pose. "Don't worry. Nothing will disturb your sleep with that downpour outside."

Terra noticeably relaxed. "I guess your right." A small hint of a smile touched her lips. She hasn't been able to just relax in a long time.

She let herself fall over so that she was curled up on the ground but still next to the fire. She wasn't sleepy but she was tired of running.
