The Body Heat Meme

Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

[His brow furrows at 'terrorists', and 'taken out my magic'--and takes another look around, reaching with his grace--there are others nearby, but he needs to focus on Nike first. And the cold. He steps forward, placing a solid hand on her shoulder, head dipped down, in earnest--]

Do you know how they are doing this.

[Nike leans into that hand because she is really really cold right now. She's not in much besides her school uniform.]

There was a whole list of spells. All of them need individual counters and if I could think straight right now I could tell y'them. [It was waaaay tooo cold for thinking straight.] And even then, I'd need my magic t'counter em'. [Whiiiiiiiiiiich, she was currently lacking.]

[He notices the way she leans into his palm--and her words about the cold. He removes his hand, and hesitates with his hand in the air...and gently, awkwardly, wraps his arm about her shoulders, hoping to alleviate some of the cold.] We will find a solution.

[She nods her head just barely and wraps her arms back around him, under the trench coat.] Dammit I wish Athena was here... [though if Athena were here, she wouldn't be in this predicament.....]

Y'can't just zap us outta here?

She has been in hiding in Jerusalem for two centuries. [He wraps his other arm around her, frowning into the dark]

I am unsure if I am able without harming you. There may be other magicks preventing your leaving this room, and you could be harmed in the process.

[She snickers despite the dire situation]

Wrong Athena. You'll have t'meet my Athena sometime.

[Still what he said was true..]

Thought as much. [A small breath in.] Can we just... sit down a second. [Her bare legs were nooooot helping the situation.]

I will do so. [Because leaving this room without her is not an option. He nods, backing a step against a wall, and carefully maneuvers into a sitting position, coaxing her to follow him]

[She'll just follow him and wait for him to sit down before--just-- carefully maneuvering herself to sit on top of him, arms finding his middle again, pressing her face into the crook of his neck. No such thing as personal space with Nike]

Thanks....

[She relaxes and closes her eyes, not out of tiredness, but just sort of feeling his warmth]

So how'd you know t'come? Y'said I called?

[Because she did not even remember--]

[He allows all of this--mainly because he doesn't understand personal space himself. Her body is freezing against his vessel, and he makes a point to drape his coat around her--as her arms are locked tight around his middle, under the tan cloth.

He nods--quietly reaching out with his grace again to find answers in the walls outside this small room.]

Yes. I believe it was an unconscious decision.

Huh... then remind me t'never call out your name durin' sex, okay?

[HUMOR HELPS HER DEAL WITH DIRE SITUATIONS OKAY?]

...I will remind you at a later date. [Because, honestly, he has no idea why she would do such a thing.]

[She'll just laugh and kiss your cheek before snuggling down closer.]

Think of somethin' yet?

[The act is foreign, and he frowns some before answering]

..No. I cannot find the source to your predicament yet.

[She sees your frown and rolls her eyes]

Then what use r'you?

[It should be noted she's saying this with something of a smile on her face]

[While Cas has honestly considered that very seriously about himself for some time, the smile reminds him of someone--and the art of affectionate teasing. Like one of his brothers. Or the boys.

His mouth twitches, barely, something of a smile.] We will get out of here.

No problem. Named after the goddess of victory, remember?

[Still.... Her lips form a pout and she can't even believe she's going to ask this but--]

Could yah-- just rub your hand up and down? [She demonstrates on his back slowly] Like that?

Yes. [Yes, he does. In detail. He imagines she still meets with the others when they have their retreats every few decades.

His eyebrows raise at her question--but he doesn't comment. He only does as she asks, moving his hand and rubbing her back as she demonstrated]

[She feels the slight tension before he does as she asks and her smile turns a bit sly]

Hey, be glad I didn't say we should strip. Because technically, that is the easiest way t'transfer body heat.

[He raises an eyebrow, looking at her--] I have no qualms about removing my clothes if it will help you.

[That'll get her to raise an eyebrow]

Hey there, don't be so quick t'give up th'goods. I'll be fine, champ, just keep doin' what you're doin'.

[There's a classic quizzical look at the former, in true Castiel fashion, but he nods and continues his ministrations on her back.] Very well.

Thank y'Cas. [She's stopped shivering as much, that's for sure. Slowly she's warming up, she's beginning to picture a specific circle she may be able to cast to get her a bit more help...

Her hands begin to work against his back in specific patterns. Her mind trying to reach the conclusion, muscle memory trying to boot up.

...She then wondered, vaguely if he even had someone draw on his back before. Something so mundane to her probably was foreign to him.

Still, she had to keep her mouth running, it kept her mind off the cold]

[He nods at her first, as if there is no need to thank him--no need to acknowledge it--it is simply something that is. He would never -not- do something like this, let alone more, if it kept her out of danger kind of thing.

His mouth quirks again--something more of a smile, one many people have never seen.]

You are my friend. I wish to do so.

[An intake of breath, a ghost of a laugh]

Of course. I feel th'same way about my family.

[Friends... just wasn't a strong enough word for them anymore]

M'happy t'be counted among your friends then.

I am glad. [He is. He enjoys making those he cares for happy. Though, the happiness is often short lived. There's a small silence, as Cas is thinking...]

..My relationship with my family is..complicated.
