[It doesn't happen that often, not really, but there are times when Alfred is quiet. Quiet and thoughtful and worrying a bit more than people would think him capable of. During these times, if he pursues the mood and doesn't try to chase it away with video games, or throwing himself into fleshing out his latest 'brilliant' plan to improve the world, or the latest huge party he's throwing, he'll seek out company.

As usual, Ritsu was in a huff over something, but it wasn't usual that for once, he was realizing a shortcoming and not doing anything to better himself for personal growth. Usually, if Ritsu saw himself doing something wrong or Takano said he couldn't, then that was an obvious challenge to succeed!

"And I don't see how dancing is anywhere in my job description!" Really, why Takano invited him on this 'business trip' is beyond Ritsu's understanding, and why there's an after hours party at a club that Takano's been trying to convince him to attend is a whole other issue he can't wrap his brain around.

At the end of the night, Tim is beyond exhausted. How he wound up fighting alongside the Red Hood, beside Jason, is anybody's guess. He won't try right now to figure out how they worked so well together, the logistics of most-times-not-friends dancing so perfectly with one another. It's weird, and Tim's too tired to worry if it's some kind of trick. His guard is already let down, and he thinks Jason's is a bit too, and that's nice. To see Jason without the manic, crazed need to kill in his eyes. To see him as...human. As a guy not much older than Tim in the reality of things.

"My place is close," Tim says as the two of them fly side-by-side through the streets of Gotham. "You wanna crash?"

It's stupid. Jason could take advantage of him in far too many ways to count. And giving Jason his home address is probably not the best idea. But...well... Tim is feeling trustworthy tonight. Jason's earned it.

[It has been a long day for Ky. He originally had planned to take Aqua out tonight, but he wasn't feeling up to it after the kind of day he had while on duty. He was simply too tired to leave the house.

But at least he wasn't too tired for a quiet evening. Hence why they were seated on the sofa in Ky's living room, a pair of glasses filled with freshly-poured wine (with Ky limiting them to one glass each) resting on the coffee table.]

The important thing to remember is that the blood of a Coldern is not lethal. Disgusting? Well, yes. Horrid smelling? Oh absolutely, this stink will be stuck to me for at least a week but remember that it’s not lethal and I will be fine. [ He pauses, eyebrow arched.
