This is a shameless meme playing with the idea of "cured by love," extended into the infamous "cured by the magic cock/vagina" trope. Love it or hate it, it's prevalent in fiction, both fan and published. And sometimes, no lie, you just want to play it and not be judge for the pure shlock you know it to be. [ The Great Gospel had done nothing short of a wonder on him, but Cloud's still in no shape to take part in the party going on downstairs. His chest hurts every time he tries to breathe, and he'd still coughed up blood a couple times on the way back to the bar. Not that he minded missing out on whatever celebration Barret and Cid were getting up to. If it was anything like their usual fare, it would include a lot of alcohol and probably a few noisy drinking songs.

Maybe if they were lucky Barret wouldn't put a few extra "windows" in the bar this time.

He'd expected Tifa to join them, though, instead of ending up keeping him company. Not that he minds, exactly, it's just that... there are things he needs to say to her, and now that he finally has the chance to say them, he doesn't know where to start.

He didn't know who started it but it didn't matter, not really. Steve needed the connection and he was guessing Isaac did too. As soon as the other man's mask was down, Steve pulled him into a kiss. He nudged him toward the tiny bed in the back and figured it would have to do.

[ooc: Clay took off from home, and left his sister at home while never looking back. Not realizing that his mother was going to get cancer and die rather quickly. So, he basically left Whitney behind to take care of their mother, and he never contacted back home. That wasn't until Whitney and her friends went missing one weekend as they were supposed to go camping up in Crystal Lake, New Jersey. He came home and found out that his mother had died a few days to a week after she disappeared. Clay then went on a man hunt to find his sister, and no one would really help him. Telling him she possibly ran away due to the stresses of taking care of her mother.

On his hunt, he met Jenna and fell for her Jenna tried to give Clay a drink, or some food since she knew he had been at finding his sister all day and did not take any respite. Jenna's b/f, a sleazeball, did not like Clay coming into his home due to a minor confrontation hours earlier. And Clay was in no mood due to his worry for his sister, and edginess for being out and about all day long with no leads. So, instead of asking Clay to leave, Jenna was pissed at her b/f and left with Clay. The two of them traveled further into the wooded area, and came up Camp Crystal Lake. It had been abandoned. They searched all day, but got caught right as they were leaving when Jason showed up with a dead, headless body. Clay wanted to follow, Jenna wanted to warn her friends. Jenna won out, and they ran back to her b/f's house. Little did they know that Jason had Jeri-rigged a bunch of alarms that told him where people were in and around his woods. It also tipped off Whitney, who Jason kidnapped because she looked like his mother.

They got back to the house, and one by one Jason killed them all save for Clay, Jenna, and her ex b/f. Jason went after the boyfriend, and Clay and Jenna went on to find Whitney. It was then that he came back, and chased them all. Killing Jenna, and leaving the siblings to run. By the end of the evening Clay killed off Jason, or so he thought. When he went to dump Jason's body, Jason rose out of the water and claimed Whitney back for a watery grave with him. Leaving Clay broken, freaked, and on a mission to find, and finally kill Jason once and for all.]

Shura'd left with first light.

He'd known, as he always knew, even without words of farewell between them. They'd whiled the past decades together, content in fractured understandings and mitigated silence. They would never speak as one, think as one, experience the world as one same witness to its performance; but he would not have called their exercise in kinship a failed venture. Shura had reached a maturity he was now to test and grow in the world beyond his father - and Yomi'd quietened what anger had quickened in him over the years. The centuries. The millennia.

It suited, then, that the source of his chaos should reappear to tempt him to his old ways within hours. He did not run from the silvered thief; he did not hide. Time and inclination had brought Shura's and his lair by the border, where his son could polish his skills against intruders who thought to disturb the human world without Reikai retaliation. Early convenience now punished him.

And it was the Youko - the ki, unlike the shell, never lied. It was wilder, where the human's had been dulcet, more symbiotic with the Makai, ever-spreading. As Kurama moved, the world around him reconnected, rather than recoiled. There was still change: enough of the Youko's body had softened, enough of his skill had refined, enough of his precautions had strengthened to show that the human experience would never be forgotten. But this was more the friend and enemy Yomi had lost than before.

He knew that, whatever his purpose, the Youko would be ill at ease, paranoid and waiting on harm in his moments of recovery, weakness. The territory around him may have accepted him, but Yomi knew enough of the Youko's mind to understand its foreignness would be perceived as disadvantage.

He stepped forward in the border clearing, arms widely spread to signal both peaceful intention and the absence of weapon, voice peaceful to soothe frayed nerves.
