The Fully Mega-Evolved Pokémon Meme!

((Art Found Here, check out their beautiful stuff!))
Do you want to be the very best, like no one ever was? Well, what do you even want to be the best at? There's so much to do in the beautiful Pokémon world... where do you begin? Which Pokémon world do you begin in?
RULES:
◓Tag the post with your character, defining what they are. Use RNG or select what you like. (It is okay to select several options for anyone replying to chose, simply clarify in your comment)
◓Reply to someone else! If they're a trainer, perhaps be their rival or a gym leader they have to face. If they're a breeder, be a customer interested in leveling up your Pokémon. Cross the streams, interract within the world of Pokémon!
◓Don't be afraid to list what Pokémon you own... or what Pokémon you have become.
◓Don't forget the Golden Rule, and of course, have fun!
A: Core Universe
01. Trainer's Journey: You're roaming the land, seeing the sights, and raising a team of Pokémon! Are you going for the championship? Or are you someone's extremely obnoxious rival? (Or both?)
02. Team ___: You're going to rule the world, one way or another - might as well beat up this punk and take their Pokémon, right?
03. Gym Leader/Elite Four: You're a stepping stone on every trainer's pursuit of the championship, and a representative for your Gym's town/city/etc.
04. Professor: What are you researching? And are you taking another professor to go along, being heckled by some ruffians, or did you bring a young trainer to escort you?
05. Breeder: You raise other trainers' Pokémon with love and attention. You also have to tell a bunch of kids about the eggs that appear when they leave a compatible pair of Pokémon behind...
06. Battle Facilities: The Frontier, the Subway, the Institute... you are a major trainer in one of these facilities, and you organize a great challenge for only the strongest trainers.
07. Coordinator: Contests! Dressing up Pokémon, raising them to use their attacks beautifully or toughly or cutely. I hear that wimpy ol' Unova just has them dance, the silly westerners.
08. Underground: Dig, dig, dig! Set those traps! Make a base! It's a competitive game, one you can do without Pokémon. You just have to be willing to get a little dirty!
09. PokéAthlon: Train hard! Get your Pokémon team set up for speed, for strength, for competition!! And get in there yourself, time's wasting!
10. Dream World: Whoa, this place is... strange. Wait, of course, it's a dream! So why did you wake up with a few less berries and a new Pokémon waiting for you...?
11. PokéStar Studios: Film a movie, with you and your Pokémon! Although, be willing to accept that your film is probably going to be rather Bollywood... but hey, maybe you'll sign some autographs!
12. Sightseeing: Going to the Ruins of Alph? Hiking through Mt. Coronet? Looking at the strange rocks in Geosenge Town? There's a lot of beautiful landmarks in the Pokémon world to see with friends, family, and loved ones! Don't forget to take pictures!
B: Side Titles
01. Mystery Dungeon: Suddenly, you are a Pokémon! But... that's okay, right? Now you can go help (or harm) your fellow Pokémon as explorers or rescuers.
02. Snap: You don't actually own any Pokémon, you take professional photography. Maybe you'll sneak some pictures of a trainer's Pokémon, or hire a buddy to take pictures with you on the track at Pokémon Island.
03. Hey You, Pikachu!: Pick up the apple! ...Pick up the apple. The apple-- PICK UP THE GOD DAMN APPLE
04. Conquest: Why stick to just Pokémon when you could also be a Samurai Warlord?
05. Ranger: No need to catch Pokémon. You just need to enlist them briefly to help you patrol for poachers and protect nature and wild Pokémon!
06. Adventures: Where being a Pokédex Holder is a huge deal, Legendary Pokémon often threaten the apocalypse, and the shounen power of the world is turned up to 11.
07. Trading Cards: Wait, you think Pokémon are real creatures? Hahah, that's silly! Now come play this Children's Card Game!
C: Unofficial
01. Nuzlocke: You come from a world where Pokémon are very likely to die in battle. There's no fainting.
02. ROM Hacks: There are countless fan-made Pokémon games, with their own stories and even their own Pokémon, sometimes.
03. Alternate Universe: Nothing captures the imagination like a Pokémon AU. Give a brief synopsis if you can.
04. Route 29: Or any of the other Dreamwidth RP games! Might as well, right?

...Deep down, he needed to hear that. After what had happened, it was so difficult to trust humans and what they said. They were good at lying, decieving...and Ichigo never, ever wanted to do something like he'd been forced into doing again.
But...he was still living among humans, wasn't he? Most of the legendaries would have hidden themselves away, not remained among them. Maybe it was precicely that-he didn't want something like that to happen again, so this time he would protect the creatures of this world from calamity.
The pumpkaboo at his side looked up, giving a questioning sound. His hand balled up into a fist....and then he strode back to the table, sitting back down and placing his back back on the floor.
He'd trusted humans before once, hadn't he?
He could try again.]
...I just remembered-it's in a few hours.
[Catching the attention of a waiter, he asked for a refill of what he'd been drinking, and locked eyes with Raidou-his brown eyes turning blue for a brief second.]
...So...just out of curiosity. You never told me why you kept asking this stuff. Is somebody trying to find that Pokémon?

The International Police aim to protect the world from criminals and those who would do it harm. Since a certain incident in Geosenge a few months ago, no one has seen the that Pokémon, and there are many who would see it captured to either use themselves or keep others from using it. I was sent to find it and assess the situation-- either capture and contain it, or decide that it would be safe to leave alone.
[The detective took a long drink of his tea. He wasn't used to talking this much, and it had dried out his throat. The Persian lifted its head to stare at Raidou in disapproval, which the black-haired youth returned, listening to something that couldn't be heard.]
I wouldn't worry about it. [He whispered, this time to the Persian itself rather than Ichigo.]
because what's a thread without some action
[That made sense...but he didn't really want to be captured or contained. Even if it were for good reasons, he'd learned the hard way that the way to hell was paved with good intentions....and that humans tended to be corrupted by power.
So if what Raidou had said before was true...]
I think what you said before's true-about it being good at hiding and regretting what it's done. I don't think anyone's going to find it for a very, very long time...But he'll probably be around, hiding in plain sight.
[He shrugged, giving a wry grin.]
...At least, that's what I'd do if I were Yveltal.
[There's a moment's silence as they look at each other, an unspoken phrase in those brown eyes of his:
I'm going to trust you. Please, don't break it.
And then he looks down, taking another breath to say something...except someone's come up behind the teenager.
'Excuse me....'
The man places his hand on Ichigo's shoulder, smiling pleasantly.
'I'm sorry, but you'll have to come with me.'
Suddenly, everyone in the cafe stands, taking out pokeballs that had either been hidden or having the pokemon they had out slowly surround the two.]
W-What-
['You see, our team wasn't finished with you when you decided to break out. Only a child would think that taking out Lysander would completely destroy Team Flare...Yveltal.'
Shit. Shit shit shit shit shit-
'We know you could drain the life from us...but then, you'd also end up draining the person in front of you. Besides, you'd blow your cover. Not that you didn't already blow it pretty badly, huh?'
Gripping Ichigo's shoulder tightly, the man continued.
'See, we knew that if we followed this Kuzunoha character around, we'd eventually find you. At the very least, we'd get some info on where you were. But no, the guy leads us right to you! Good job, mister detective.'
God. They wanted him to cause another calamity-and this time, one they'd no doubt force him to do personally. If only he could just knock them all out-he could control how much life force he could take, but it did have a wide area of effect...and Raidou and his pokemon would also be swept up in it.
Gritting his teeth, Ichigo looked at Raidou, trying to come up with a solution.]
That's fine by me!
He would have asked for the bill for his tea and left then, if not for this sudden change in circumstances.
All throughout the unfamiliar man's speech, the detective remained calm, even going so far as to lean back in his seat and interlock his fingers as if he'd expected this to happen. It was only when Ichigo... Yveltal looked to him that he responded at all. With a returned glance that said 'I've got this', he spoke.]
In that case, everyone in this café is under arrest. Resisting arrest will only worsen your sentence. [He didn't even get up from his seat to say it. Of course, every one of the Team Flare-affiliated patrons laughed at the absurdity of the statement.
'Yeah right! You're just one guy! What are you going to do?'
What indeed. Remaining as calm as before, Raidou stood, neatly pushing in his chair.]
I did warn you.
[Suddenly, the café became a flurry of confusion. People and Pokémon plastered against the walls by some unseen force, with the Persian lunging at any who remained unaffected (oddly, only dark-types seemed exempt, which was why Ichigo probably felt nothing). Upon closer inspection, an Espeon could be seen standing at the detective's side-- the source of the energy holding their attackers at bay.]
Go. [Raidou spoke softly, glancing from Ichigo to the door. 'Now's your chance,' He didn't say, but he was certain the disguised Pokémon would understand.]
no subject
But he didn't miss the go, or the look-and he nodded, sparing no time to gather his things and leave.
Except, perhaps, to leave a strange feather behind. One that glowed red, with a strange black 'y' shaped pattern on it.
Still, he rushed out, and the last thing he said to Raidou was simple.]
Thank you-
[and then he was out the door, onto the streets, where he quickly ducked out of sight. A moment of silence went by, then a loud cry rang out, along with the sound of something truly massive taking off. If one managed to look out the window, they would just be able to see the faint impression of Yveltal rising higher and higher into the sky, flying away from the direction of Kalos.
Never to return...? Perhaps. But maybe....he'd meet Raidou again.]
