The Fully Mega-Evolved Pokémon Meme!

((Art Found Here, check out their beautiful stuff!))
Do you want to be the very best, like no one ever was? Well, what do you even want to be the best at? There's so much to do in the beautiful Pokémon world... where do you begin? Which Pokémon world do you begin in?
RULES:
◓Tag the post with your character, defining what they are. Use RNG or select what you like. (It is okay to select several options for anyone replying to chose, simply clarify in your comment)
◓Reply to someone else! If they're a trainer, perhaps be their rival or a gym leader they have to face. If they're a breeder, be a customer interested in leveling up your Pokémon. Cross the streams, interract within the world of Pokémon!
◓Don't be afraid to list what Pokémon you own... or what Pokémon you have become.
◓Don't forget the Golden Rule, and of course, have fun!
A: Core Universe
01. Trainer's Journey: You're roaming the land, seeing the sights, and raising a team of Pokémon! Are you going for the championship? Or are you someone's extremely obnoxious rival? (Or both?)
02. Team ___: You're going to rule the world, one way or another - might as well beat up this punk and take their Pokémon, right?
03. Gym Leader/Elite Four: You're a stepping stone on every trainer's pursuit of the championship, and a representative for your Gym's town/city/etc.
04. Professor: What are you researching? And are you taking another professor to go along, being heckled by some ruffians, or did you bring a young trainer to escort you?
05. Breeder: You raise other trainers' Pokémon with love and attention. You also have to tell a bunch of kids about the eggs that appear when they leave a compatible pair of Pokémon behind...
06. Battle Facilities: The Frontier, the Subway, the Institute... you are a major trainer in one of these facilities, and you organize a great challenge for only the strongest trainers.
07. Coordinator: Contests! Dressing up Pokémon, raising them to use their attacks beautifully or toughly or cutely. I hear that wimpy ol' Unova just has them dance, the silly westerners.
08. Underground: Dig, dig, dig! Set those traps! Make a base! It's a competitive game, one you can do without Pokémon. You just have to be willing to get a little dirty!
09. PokéAthlon: Train hard! Get your Pokémon team set up for speed, for strength, for competition!! And get in there yourself, time's wasting!
10. Dream World: Whoa, this place is... strange. Wait, of course, it's a dream! So why did you wake up with a few less berries and a new Pokémon waiting for you...?
11. PokéStar Studios: Film a movie, with you and your Pokémon! Although, be willing to accept that your film is probably going to be rather Bollywood... but hey, maybe you'll sign some autographs!
12. Sightseeing: Going to the Ruins of Alph? Hiking through Mt. Coronet? Looking at the strange rocks in Geosenge Town? There's a lot of beautiful landmarks in the Pokémon world to see with friends, family, and loved ones! Don't forget to take pictures!
B: Side Titles
01. Mystery Dungeon: Suddenly, you are a Pokémon! But... that's okay, right? Now you can go help (or harm) your fellow Pokémon as explorers or rescuers.
02. Snap: You don't actually own any Pokémon, you take professional photography. Maybe you'll sneak some pictures of a trainer's Pokémon, or hire a buddy to take pictures with you on the track at Pokémon Island.
03. Hey You, Pikachu!: Pick up the apple! ...Pick up the apple. The apple-- PICK UP THE GOD DAMN APPLE
04. Conquest: Why stick to just Pokémon when you could also be a Samurai Warlord?
05. Ranger: No need to catch Pokémon. You just need to enlist them briefly to help you patrol for poachers and protect nature and wild Pokémon!
06. Adventures: Where being a Pokédex Holder is a huge deal, Legendary Pokémon often threaten the apocalypse, and the shounen power of the world is turned up to 11.
07. Trading Cards: Wait, you think Pokémon are real creatures? Hahah, that's silly! Now come play this Children's Card Game!
C: Unofficial
01. Nuzlocke: You come from a world where Pokémon are very likely to die in battle. There's no fainting.
02. ROM Hacks: There are countless fan-made Pokémon games, with their own stories and even their own Pokémon, sometimes.
03. Alternate Universe: Nothing captures the imagination like a Pokémon AU. Give a brief synopsis if you can.
04. Route 29: Or any of the other Dreamwidth RP games! Might as well, right?

[His eyes narrow, and his Absol mimics the expression.] The Koopa Troop's been causing trouble and I don't like it.
no subject
[As his hand falls back to his side, the false courtesy likewise fades from Kamek's features, leaving behind a cold smirk.]
You don't like it? Your time has come and gone, brat. You speak as if we're some gang of petty bandits, but I'm afraid you are mistaken... A new era is on the horizon, and not even you can stand against it!
no subject
[He rolls his shoulders, giving a whistle to the Absol, and the Disaster Pokemon snaps to attention.] I'm afraid I can't allow Bowser's plans to come to pass. If I'm not meant to be the one to do so, then so be it. But I'll be far from the last person to try and stop the Koopa Troop.
... So, shall we begin, sir?

[In a single fluid motion he produces a Poké Ball seemingly out of midair and throws it to the earth, releasing his Gardevoir. As its elegant form takes shape, its unusual blue coat shimmers softly in the low light. Without even being prompted, the Embrace Pokémon raises its arms, causing the soft glow of moonlight to suffuse the room before gathering into a single area to be launched at Absol in the form of a powerful Moonblast.]
no subject
Orpheus, you know what to do. [He lifts a paw, dark purple-black energy collecting at his claws. The Absol charges at the Gardevoir, ready with a Shadow Claw.]
no subject
[Gardevoir attempts to weave to the side of the attack, but releases a gasp of pain as it proves unable to dodge the cursed slash entirely. In response it launches another Moonblast, this time using but a single arm, now dispensing with unnecessary spectacle.]
no subject
Orpheus, hang in there!
no subject
[Right on cue, the glimmering Pokémon extends its arm towards Orpheus, as if beckoning him, before seemingly splitting apart. Dozens of flickering duplicates surround the Absol as his claw rends naught but air...]
no subject
[There's a glint in the Absol's eyes as he looks around at the multiple duplicates. He bends himself low to the ground before tearing through the clones at high speed, wildly slashing with the blade on his head.]
no subject
Damn you!
[Quickly, he withdraws Gardevoir and throws out another Poké Ball. From this one emerges a sinister squid-like monster that flexes its tentacles malevolently.]
Malamar, finish it now!
[The creature is happy to oblige and uses Superpower, charging towards Orpheus while spreading its tentacles wide then attempting to crush him in an earth-shattering grip. Furthermore, whereas such a powerful move would quickly tire out most Pokémon, Malamar experiences a surge of energy, bolstering both its strength and defense.]
no subject
You did your best, dear friend. [He throws out another Poké Ball himself.] Reaper, it's your turn.
[And out comes a Dusknoir, slamming a fist into an open palm menacingly.]
no subject
"Reaper"? How creative. [He shakes his head and smirks.] Give him a Night Slash!
[The inverted squid vanishes into darkness just long enough to hopefully divert Reaper's attention to looking for it before rushing the ghost, bringing down its scythe-like tentacles in a slashing motion.]
no subject
The mouth on its stomach opens up, releasing six golden orbs of light that surround Malamar, blinking eerily: Confuse Ray.]
no subject
Hmph. Shadow Ball.
[At the rather laconic order of her trainer, the spectral witch flaps her appendages, causing a ball of ghastly energy to coalesce then fire at the Dusknoir.]
no subject

killingKO'ing blow and as such she wastes no time hurling another Shadow Ball right back at her fellow ghost.]no subject
[And out comes a Garchomp who leers at the Mismagius.]
Dragon Rage. [The Garchomp gives what seems to be the land-shark-dragon equivalent of a toothy grin before opening her mouth and expelling a bright blue flame.]
no subject
Grr...
[This time he unleashes Carracosta, who, surprisingly, does not immediately launch an attack on the Garchomp. Instead, it uses Shell Smash; bringing its huge flippers down on its own chest, it sends great cracks running through its natural "armor". While this may seem like a suicidal move, and does indeed leave it far more vulnerable, it also increases its mobility considerably, giving it a distinct offensive edge. With that done, it eyes Garchomp carefully, bracing itself for the next attack...]

Minato swears silently reaching to brace himself against a wall after the Earthquake is triggered. Atropos has always been rather prone to doing whatever she liked in battle.]
no subject
...However, a few tense seconds later, it slowly picks itself up, its Sturdy ability having ensured that it wouldn't be taken out quite so easily. As soon as it gets its bearings, it releases a furious cry and charges at Garchomp, turning 180 degrees at the very last second to deliver a brutal Aqua Tail.]
no subject
Meanwhile, the Aqua Tail wasn't quite as devastating to Atropos, but it does take her down a good deal. She shakes herself out of it after a moment or two before letting loose another Dragon Rage.]
no subject
Bring it down.
[Alakazam nods, and brandishes its twin spoons in a sweeping arc as it uses Psychic to slam Atropos with a crushing wave of telekinetic force.]
no subject
[He sends out a Chandelure who lets out a long whine. A ring of black energy forms around her, and with a flick of her arms, the Dark Pulse is sent hurtling towards the Alakazam.]
no subject
Rrgh...! Alakazam! Shadow Ball!
[It holds its spoons aloft, twirling them quickly as yet another orb of cursed power forms, then is sent flying.]
