Who doesn't love a good carnival? The sights, the sounds, the...well, maybe not so much the smells. Going with your young siblings? Maybe you're taking your date for a good time! Maybe a friend dragged you along. Whoever you're there with, the important part is that you're having a good time!

1. The Midway!
Oh god, you want that stuffed unicorn so hard, it's just so incredible. Or perhaps you just want to show off to everyone else how AWESOME you are. Test of Strength? More like...Test of....Getting Owned With a Hammer. Whatever the reason, you're slapping down your cash and winning those games! ...If it's possible to win, that is.

2. Haunted House
PFFT! Who's scared?! These things are never that scary! ...Are they? That...That's not a real mummy, right? What was that sound?! ZOINKS!

3. Ferris Wheel
Did you ever wonder what the carnival looks like from such a high place? Or maybe you just want some alone time with your date. Do you find yourself thinking that this is a lot higher than it looked?

4. Fun House
What's so fun about it?! It's impossible to get through this stupid Hall of Mirrors! Agh, this tube is spinning, how can anyone stand up in this thing?! Wait, isn't that the same way you came from?!

5. Tunnel of Love
Awww, yiss. You're lookin' for a little bit of alone time, even if you are in a tiny, bird-shaped boat surrounded by shallow, dirty water. Or maybe your friends shoved you in before you had time to react. Have fun, love birds!

6. Carnival food!
Cotton Candy, corndogs, popcorn, ice cream, candy apples...! It's all so terrible and bad for you, but it tastes so good! You don't even know what that over there is, but it's deep fried and looks delicious in the most disgusting way. Be careful that you don't make yourself sick!

7. Petting Zoo
CUTE ANIMALS! You want to pet all of them! Or maybe the person you're with wants to. Though, whether the animals really want to be petted or not is another matter.

8. GRAVITRON!
Standing inside a giant ring that’s spinning at high speeds with no restraints. Yes. This is a good idea. Somehow. Hope you didn’t eat first.

9. Working
You’re not having fun because you’re WORKING here. Somehow, you got roped into this. Maybe you LOVE working here, SELLING DREAMS TO CHILDREN~! Or maybe you’ve had enough of being in the dunking booth or wearing that doofy animal costume. Maybe your friends won’t laugh too hard at you.

10. Other
You have other ideas? Play out those Carnival shenanigans!

[There's something wrong about a goat's eyes, with those creepy sideways-sitting pupils of theirs and the thousand-yard stare of the damned they have going on. Even a tough wannabe private eye can be forgiven for being intimidated by a look like that.

Somebody help her, this particular goat has backed her into a corner and is staring at her in a most malevolent way . . .]

[A little blond girl wanders through the carnival, sparkly-eyed and gape-mouthed. So many wonderful things are here: a Ferris wheel, happy couples and children with faces kinda hers. Happy music flows throughout the place, and it seems like no other place on earth could begin to compare!]

[Nina is just happy she has someone to spend it with as she looks to Pilouette and smiles. The two are just headed to the food stands, each happy that they'd gotten a small white teddy bear at another game stand.]

Heehee! Mmm... [She can smell the oil already, and it reminds her so many good things are waiting to get in her belly!]

[ John was waiting rather patiently by one of the food trolleys, trying to distract himself with the twirl of bright lights and the saccharine smells overpowering London's usual mire. His date had all but barreled off to the toilet after the last ride which, in retrospect, probably hadn't been a good idea to do an hour after dinner. But she'd claimed a stomach of iron, and John had come off alright. He still felt a bit bad about it.

He was also feeling a bit worried. It'd been about fifteen minutes since he'd first started standing there. He was going to give about five more before he tried to find someone willing to go in and check on her. There was also the distinct possibility that she had snuck her way off - John couldn't blame her if that were the case, though he should have liked to apologize.

A familiar face catches his eye in the crowd, a surprise since he had only been panning it without really looking. ]

Sam had promised Jack he was going to learn how to have fun and that wasn't going to end after their first night. They'd done quite a few things since they'd met and Sam could tell Jack was much more happier and relaxed than that first night. The carnival was in town and there was no way Sam was letting it come and go without taking Jack. The first thing she'd done when they got there was make sure they had tickets and led him straight to the Fun House, one of her favorite places. "I promise you're gonna have fun tonight here and later on." she smirked, "You ready to go inside?"
