can we slow down with the memes in the comm, please? 8-9 a day is killing everyone's motivation to post in any of them.

I think there should be limits on memes posted per day. The comments in memes used to be in the thousands but they're posted so often, not many people are tagging. It takes some people several days to finish a meme. We don't need 5 or 6 smut memes posted in one day.

although it would be more work for the mods, i think posts should have to be approved. that way if a meme is to similar to a recent one it won't be posted, and then the comm won't get flooded everyday.

Instead of approving posts, maybe they could just delete the post if it's been posted in the last *insert # of days here* days. There's always muns who can point them out to be deleted.

i think the post approval thing is probably better, too much opportunity for wank with deletions.

This! I don't want to comment on the very same memes that are still finishing up threads from only a couple of days ago.

Some of my threads take a week or more to finish up due to the availability of the muns. We're not all here 24/7.

that and some people will drop threads in one meme just to tag in all the new ones posted later that same day.

it's no wonder people's motivation to tag or play out threads is waning significantly.

I won't tag new ones until I'm finished with the threads I have but it is overwhelming to see so many memes posted in a day.

at least it feels that way from my experience since i started playing here.

Not to mention. It would give people the opportunity to tag on a meme that happened a few days ago without feeling like they are late to the party. I usually want to tag on memes that happened nine or ten days ago but I feel like I'm too late and no one's even looking through it anymore since there's been 20 new memes since.

That's why, when I post memes, I always make sure the one I want hasn't been posted in at least two/three weeks.

I'd like to see the auction meme again, the one where the bidding is open a few days. It's been a while since it's been posted.
