[There's a light shower of rain outside today, but it's overall pretty peaceful. A chair in the living room is occupied by a young woman and small infant bundled in green instead of the typical blue.]

[It's a bouncing baby boy in Naoto's arms, quietly sucking on a pacifier while she holds him. He probably doesn't understand the book she's trying to read to him, but that's fine. He appears to be engaged by the colorful pictures at least.]

Their daughter. Their baby. His. Belle's. It is, well, unlikely to say the very least. Extremely unlikely. So part of him is staring in fascination. Another part of his staring, however, comes from, well, terror.

It may have become obvious, especially to a girl as bright as Belle, that he is avoiding touching or holding the infant. Not through lack of wanting to, oh no, but part of him is convinced that even in touching something so small and delicate and pure, well, he being what he is, would ruin it.

So he stands, beside the baby's bassinet and just... watches. Raptly.]
