His hands slid up, fingers finding RJ's hair, and he moaned into their kiss. His orgasm started with only a moment's notice just after and he had to pull back, had to take a deep breath to moan out RJ's name, had to press himself closer, deeper, before he threw his head back with the sheer pleasure.

When he felt Merrick's orgasm start, he pulled away to sit up so he could keep moving, to get as deep as he could. He wanted to feel this tomorrow and the next day.

Watching Merrik in the throes of pleasure was just about enough to send RJ off and a few tugs on himself later, his own orgasm hit him with a whisper plea of Merrick's name and a groan.

"Mm..." He took a breath, sighed it out, relaxing against the bed bonelessly. "Beautiful," he smiled, eyes closing. "You are... Mm. I can't imagine this being any better..."

And he wasn't sure he could, or even wanted, to move. He felt bone-deep tired in the best ways. All thanks to his wonderful mate.

RJ sat for a few moments before carefully lifting off and then dropped down to curl up against Merrick's side, sighing sleepily. "Mmmm....My amazing warrior...It can only get better."

He was exhausted, and a little sore, but he did open one eye to pull the sheet over so he could clean up the mess he made on Merrick's belly, at least for now. Then he tossed it aside and closed his eyes again, head snuggled on Merrick's shoulder.

Merrick laughed softly - a low, heated sound as he gathered RJ to him and let his eyes close, soaking in the warmth of the two of them together. "Think I need a nap," he murmured. "The world can survive without us for a little while longer."

And he still wasn't quite ready to let go of the feeling of RJ's skin against his. A half hour longer wasn't so much. A little more time with his mate in his arms.

He nuzzled into RJ's hair, smiling at the thought that he might have to find a way to thank their pranksters for the opportunity.

"A nap is a wonderful idea. Brilliant, love." RJ said, punctuated by a yawn as he tucked his face into Merrick's neck, his favorite sleeping position. He was exhausted and sore from a good bout of love making with his mate. His now fully bonded mate.

Yep, they'd earned a nap. And a chance to bask in the afterglow of what they had done. That and RJ was warm and really didn't want to move.

He brushed a kiss to RJ's forehead. "Dream well, tharrah," he whispered and let himself drift into relaxation and eventually into sleep. At last, his heart was well and truly settled. He had found where he belonged.
