flowers in the attic / incest meme
Incest is, despite its taboo nature in most societies, actually a pretty popular convention in both romantic fiction and works of a more erotic bent, in everything from period or fantasy pieces to series taking place in places like modern day Japan. Still, the most common configuration in these fictions are the pairing of siblings. Perhaps this is because of the usual lack of age difference and power dynamic that exists in child/adult relative pairings, though this is not always the case. Because of this, a sexual or romantic relationship between siblings can almost seem, well, romantic in the right light. Of course, more often than not, there's a dark side under the veneer of forbidden love.
This meme is for those who would like to play out that, either the darkness or the light - or both.

Andrews classic, I encourage people to use this meme as a chance to play your characters in a Flowers in the Attic AU! They had a relatively normal childhood...until now, where they've been locked away with their sibling(s), either for being an interference in their parents' scheme or some kind of so-called abomination. You must come together to survive, but what will that bring up between you? This is especially in question if you're experiencing a sexual awakening as you grow.

The temple maiden Motoko Aoyama was meticulous in her training and duties even on such a beautiful evening. As the sun set behind the old temple that served as her home and training grounds she stood with perfect posture bringing her kendo training sword up and down with precise timing. Quietly she counted to herself as sweat beaded on her forehead and was chilled by the late winter air.
"Ninety one. Ninety two. Ninety three."
The muscles in her arms burned but did not ache, for Motoko hardly ever missed a day of training. She had learned long ago that if she failed in her duties , innocent souls would suffer.

Which is how she materialized right in front of Motoko, so that her sword appeared to go right through Hanyuu's head.
All in all, it was something Motoko had likely gotten used to by now.

A breath drawn in through her nose and let out in measured peace.
"Finished." She offered her sister a small smile.

"The act of swinging my boken improves my muscle strength." She explained and to give an example she rolled up her sleeve and flexed showing a well defined bicep. Normally she would be uncomfortable showing off even that much of her body, but Hanyuu was her little sister and that held no embarrassment for her.
Of course if their eldest sister was here it would be cause for criticism, thankfully she had moved out after marriage.
Sliding open the door she stepped inside closing it behind her to keep the chill out "Repeating the action as many times as I do also teaches me patience and focus. I must do my best to maintain a perfect stance and perfect strike each time without tiring." It was a basic training move but it could become tedious and required her focus.

"Oh, I suppose that makes sense.." she mused. "Like.. how I have to focus for you to...see me..?" she ventured, a bit shyly. She never really talked about the mechanics of her being a ghost, even though by this time she knew her sister was more or less comfortable with having her around.

She held up a hand and her eyes narrowed. Hanyuu had seen the look on her face before when fighting the aforementioned demons and dark spirits. Her hand erupted into a cool blue flame that was her chi in a visible form. It was easier for Hanyuu to see it then mortal people.
