She huffed out a laugh.

"It appears so," she said. "Sure you're ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be, I guess," he replied.

She smiled.

"That makes two of us," she said. "But I think we'll be just fine."

"I think so too." He reached over and squeezed her hand.

She squeezed it back, grinning again.

When he finished his breakfast, he sat back and waited for her so he could do the dishes.

She finished soon after.

"I wonder what foods I'll crave when I'm pregnant," she said. "My mom said she wanted cheeseburgers all the time."

"No more sushi," he said.

"Oh no, I totally forgot about that!" she said looking dismayed. "Well, I know what I'm having for lunch at work every day until I get pregnant."

He huffed out a laugh.

"And wine," she said. "Lots of wine."

"Wine and seafood, sounds like a winning combination," he said.

"You know that's what we're having for dinner now don't you?" she joked as she got up to clear the table.

"Oh dear." He got up too to help her.

"What? You don't want sushi for dinner?" she asked.

He laughed. "I want sushi."

"We have to celebrate," she said with a grin as she cleaned up her mess from cooking and then grabbed her pack of birth control pills from the cabinet they kept their supplements and medications. "No turning back."

"Pinky promise?" He asked.

She laughed.

"Pinky promise," she said and held her pinky up to him.

He hooked his pinky to hers.

She leaned in and kissed her thumb to seal the deal.

He kissed his thumb too and let go of her hand. "There. Done deal."

"Want to do the honors?" she asked, holding out the packet of pills to him to throw in the trash.

He laughed and took it from her. He went and threw it into the trash.

Molly got up from where she was laying down and looked excitedly at the both of them.

"Are you ready to be a big sister Molls?" Ari asked her as she rubbed her head.
