An unusual relationship of any kind of fandom (i.e. books, television shows, movies, ect.) that is unlikely to happen.

Randomly take two characters… they don’t have to know each other, they don’t have to show ANY signs of a relationship, and hook them together. That is a crack pairing.

We all know them. Fandoms have fostered these little gems of shipping since the early days, and now, they can even be serious contenders in even the most hostile of shipping wars. Maybe they're absolutely ridiculous and only "for the lulz." Perhaps they make perfect sense...if you squint. Whatever the case may be, these so-called "crack" pairings are not canon and they're nowhere near as popular in fandom as the big fanon pairings.

Most of the time.

Of course, it's important to note that a lot of the time in RP, pairings are always crack pairings. Especially crossover ships, which canon purists would deride purely for being impossible. Still, in memes, that's less likely to happen because people either stick with canon ships, fanon ships, or close CR because of the lack of opportunities for development that games offer.

Not here. This meme is for ALL your ridiculousness, all your high school fangirl dreams, and just plain not being sorry for your ships. Think these characters would be cute together? Go for it. That character have adorable icons and that all you know about them? Ship it, by all means. Here, the reasons come after the desire.

RULES
- Comment with your character and preferences. If you want, you can include a one sentence or so blurb about your character. But blank comments are fine.

Sweet
1. Can't deny it - you've tried to run from your feelings for so long and you can't do it anymore. It's time that you show the object of your affection exactly how you feel. Hopefully you don't lose everything in the process!
2. First time - it's your first time making love together. Is it awkward? Do you go all out or is it spur of the moment?
3. Accidental - you didn't actually mean to confess or kiss. They overheard you or it was an accidental kiss. Maybe you were just really drunk and let it slip!
4. Close as can be - you just want to make love and you've found a spot where it's just you and your partner, however you want it to be.
5. Happily ever after - somehow, you've made it work and you're both happy together, even if it meant you had to run away together.
6. Appreciation - show appreciation for your lover! With words, a look, or whatever your choice way to display affection is!
7. Cuddling - nothing wrong with a day of cuddling...
8. Vacation - you're on a vacation! Wherever you want to be. Road trip, amusement park, Grand Canyon, etc.
9. Family - you're visiting family! Maybe they find out about your relationship, maybe they already know, or however you want to play it out! Maybe you've got news you're starting a family by getting pregnant, adopting, or even getting a new pet.
10. Acceptance - someone who disapproved of your relationship before suddenly approves. How's that feel to you and your lover?
11. Surprise - you've planned a surprise! What is it?
12. Date - first date, second date, hundredth date, etc. What are you doing for it?
13. Reunited → it's been awhile since you've seen each other and nothing can ruin this moment.

Angst
1. Conflict - you've just had a fight with your lover over your relationship or how you handle it. Can you find it in yourselves to forgive each other?
2. Cheated - your lover has cheated on you and you need to confront them about their reasons why and if you can work it out.
3. Found out - you've been found out by someone close to you and they're less than thrilled with your relationship.
4. Disgust - though they play along with it, they're secretly disgusted by the relationship they have with you and it finally comes out into the light.
5. Guilt - one of you is feeling guilty over your relationship, knowing it can never be truly normal or more than a secret.

Comfort
1. Soothing touch - what better way to sooth your lover than to make love to them and show them that no matter what other people say, you're not going anywhere.
2. Fight for you - whoever has found out about your relationship is trying to hurt your lover and you're not going to let them.
3. Won't let you go - you need your lover to realize that you won't let them go, no matter what.
4. Back together - you broke up for a bit, but whatever it is between you two, you can't stay apart.
5. Injured - your lover was injured because of your relationship and it's time to patch them up.

1. Forced - you know your partner isn't interested in you like this, but you keep them going along with the relationship no matter what. Coercion, blackmail, whatever it takes.
2. Won't take no - their lips might say no, but you're not listening.
3. Control - you've given them some kind of potion to get your love interest to love you in return and they have to do whatever you say.
4. Recorded - you're not really interested in this forbidden love affair, but you must do it or you'll face some tough consequences.
5. Insult - you're cornered by those who disapprove of your relationship, hearing how filthy you are.

Sexy
1. Rough - you want it rough and hard tonight. Bites, scratches, bruises, etc.
2. Toys - you want to try some props tonight... toys or fuzzy handcuffs.
3. Bondage - more extreme. You're tied up, used, forced to orgasm, whatever.
4. Make up - make up sex is the best sex.
5. Public - you're feeling a little wild so why not a blowjob under the tablecloth in a restaurant or sex in the car?
6. Interrupted - oh yes, oh yes, oh--who the hell is that watching us?!

4. Parting ways - both of you have decided to part ways. It's just so much easier.

[ nothing smutty please. ]

The concert had wrapped up, the fans had all gone home, and the various musicians were all mingling at the bar after the show. The Misfits were the lead act, of course, but one of the earlier bands was starting to get quite the reputation on the street. They called themselves, Uchiha.

Lead singer Madara was trying to be the center of attention, as always, by putting the moves on Pizzazz. Guitarist Izuna and drummer Sasuke were taking shots and placing bets on who would win in a knock-out brawl between the two band leads. (Izuna had dibs on his older brother, but Sasuke thought the chick was pretty feisty. A few more drinks and he might try to put the moves on her too.) Which left the keyboardist, Itachi, in the back, pretty much by himself. He was the quiet one, the technical expert of the group. He wasn't one for the all-night parties, especially if it meant dragging Madara down from the top of the flagpole or whatever mess he managed to get himself into...

Then he noticed the keytarist standing nearby.

"You played a good show." He offered a smile.

She usually kept to herself after their concerts, her energy reserved for the concert itself and left to wind down the time the encore song had ended. She tended to revel in the atmosphere of the after parties that typically kept her bandmates occupied for the remainder of the night and watching the crowds was always something of a treat for her. Though it left her feeling a little out place sometimes, she knew that the option to leave was always there.

Roxy had not so gracefully elbowed her in the side and said something about being Jetta's wingwoman for the night (with an added malicious smirk which only meant trouble for all parties involved) before wandering off toward the saxophonist's direction, leaving Stormer to her own devices.

Her attention was roused by one of the members from their opening act — an edgy group that practically paved the way for Pizzazz's own hierarchy of introductions, but were impeccable all on their own — and smiled over the rim of her glass. She took a sip before lowering it.

"Hey, thanks! You guys were awesome too. That way you guys harmonized on that last song was incredible."

Itachi smiled back. It wasn't often that they received compliments on musical skill. Madara was a showman first and a musician second. Usually what the crowd (and critics) remembered was the pyrotechnics and special effects, not the complex chords.

"My little brother never lost that upper register of his. I try to write a lot of harmonies to take advantage of that. Izuna just does it naturally. If there's a gap, he'll fill it. With almost anything." He replied. "Though, after hearing you ladies, I wonder if I should give him a saxophone to play around with when we go back into the studio."

Granted, with the amount of hot air he spouted, it might be taken as an insult!

"And face the wrath of Pizzazz saying you jacked our style? You guys really do have an edge," she said playfully with an added lopsided grin. "Guess it was only right to have you as the opening act."

Stormer, of course, was more interested in the complexity of the sound itself and she couldn't help but latch onto her acquaintance's comment about the harmonies. It still wasn't very well known to most people that she had written the songs for the Misfits — despite 'Mary Phillips' being credited underneath nearly every one of them at that point — but there was always a stronger interest toward the most creative of the group. It didn't discount the other musical (or personal) aspects of the group, but it was the realm she was most comfortable in.

"Did you write most of the songs you played tonight?"

A bartender walked by, bringing him a small pitcher of sake. It wasn't exactly typical rock star faire, but Itachi had learned that if you ask for something (especially when it's reasonable), you really do tend to get it.

"I did." He nodded, pouring himself a small cup. It wasn't something that was well known. "And I'm guessing from your musical ear that you're the writer for the Misfits."

He slid down across the booth, and offered Stormer a seat.

Without an iota of hesitance, she slipped into the booth to sit across from him; it was always nice to talk about music with other musicians in the scene. There were only so many times she could go on about the usual questions that were always asked during interviews about the rivalry or her brief stint with Kimber or even what album she would have if she were trapped on a deserted island (which she always seemed to cleverly avoid giving an answer to).

"Yeah," she spoke with modesty laced in her tone. It wasn't that she was embarrassed to talk about it or even self-conscious, but mostly because she was trying to gauge the conversation at hand. "That second song we played — 'Retaliation' — is completely brand new. It still needs a little work before we actually release it, but the crowd seemed to love it."

There was no maliciousness in his tone, no flirtatious advances or hidden agendas. He was simply a nice guy, professional and polite. Uchiha was still a new, relatively unheard of band. There was a lot he could learn from anyone they opened for, and he honestly appreciated the hard work that went into making good music.

"The guitar solo was a little more adventurous than some of the others." He noted. The Misfits were a well established act, so he wasn't entirely sure which song came from which album. "Like Let's Blow this Town. Still catchy, but on a different level. I tried a similar experiment on Tsukuyomi, but it came out a bit... creepy. It's on the album, but I haven't had the guts to try it live. Not sure how people would react."

It didn't sound much like their breakthrough hit, Coil of Fire, which was much faster, with pounding drums against surprisingly melodic synth.

She leaned forward in interest, easily recalling the song he was speaking of, "I remember that one! The bridge would really blow people away if it was done live, especially if you amp up the sound."

Stormer, of course, had done her research on the opening band, which was something the other three had no interest in. Pizzazz waved it away, saying that as long as they didn't outshine the Misfits, then why should she care? The other two found it similarly boring, so she decided to take a good hour to sit down and really listen to their album. Needless to say, she was impressed and for once, it was a great business move. They were staggering a bit on sales as it was and she was fortunate that having such a unique band to open for them would really add a whole new depth to their concerts and sound.

"Maybe even add an outro..." she contemplated off-handedly before taking another long sip of her drink.

Itachi nodded, listening intently to her suggestions. It really might work live, especially if he extended the ending. It would give more than enough time to give Madara another costume change or set up the next round of fireworks. Their act was sometimes as much a visual experience as it was a musical one. But the visuals were Madara's gift. Itachi's talent was in his ears, not his eyes.

"I think I might try to work that in." He smiled. "Thanks."

It looked like he was going to need to listen to ALL of the Misfits albums when he had a chance. They might get a lot of new ideas.

"Now if only I could convince Madara not to smash things we can't afford to replace after every show."

[Yes, it's your dream come true Gilgamesh! As Anise was lying on her bed, she was smiling when she saw her loving boyfriend right by her side! With a smile, she immediately went for a hug as his cheek was on hers. Nothing beats cuddling!]

Oh I was here the whole time, silly~! I was just getting a little sleepy but I'm sorry that I made you worried! And who said that I was? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Now you're going to be stuck with me!

[And given how the two of them are hugging each other like they are, this little king will be latching her a little tight and rolls on over so that he'll be at the bottom and her on top. That way he wouldn't be crushing her almost literally instead of emotionally. But he'll be loosening his tight hold as he continues to nuzzle against her.]

Well you certainly did a good enough job of hiding that I couldn't find you all day until now. And me? With complaints? How could I ever?

[And there goes that chuckle of his that he tries so hard to keep from escaping, but it was hard not to when she said that last part! And his response? With a light peck at her cheek.] If that's the case, I think I have nothing to worry about at all~

[All Anise could do was give a little giggle. Don't think that being on top was going to stop her from clinging on to him like this! Even with his grip loosening, she wasn't all that disappointed. She'll have to find a way to get back at him for this!]

What can I say? I'm just that good at hiding just so you can find me eh &hearts? And well...should I go on?

[And in return, he was greeted with another nuzzle from her cheek to his. However, she couldn't stop giggling!] And especially when you're around! Why would I worry when you're here with me? I have nothing to fear!

[He really shouldn't have been away traveling so much. Max knows this, but he likes being able to see the world by train and can't help himself. But there's Anise, and he always realizes how much he misses her while he's away so he comes back to town. Like today.

He wrote her a letter a week ago to let her know he missed her and is taking the next train home. But as he steps off the train he can't help but wonder if she got it, or if she might be upset with him. Or if the cake he brought her will be be to her liking. Because he really cares about her.

Clutching the box in his hands, he lets out a long breath, then looks around to see if maybe she came to meet him by chance.]

[To be honest? There was a part of Anise that was a little mad to see him always traveling and rarely getting to see him. It was his dream to see the world but it didn't stop her from feeling so lonely. So as much as she didn't want to read his letter, she couldn't deny that she was missing him terribly.

Of course, the day when she finally did read it? Guess what? It also happens to be on the same day that he would arrive back to town! How's timing for you? Sorry Maximillian, you're going to have to wait a little bit. Anise is running to the train over here!]

[No Anise in sight yet. Maybe she's busy, or maybe he's supposed to go find her. He actually doesn't expect her to drop everything for him. Maybe he arrived before the letter did. Well, whatever the case, he starts walking towards the exit and arrives just in time to end up opening the door for her.]

[After rushing to the door, she was starting to worry that she might have made him worried about her. Oh dear, she didn't want him to think that she hated him! That would be the last thing she wanted! All she could do was hope that he was still in the train station and maybe she could explain what was going on?

Either way, she was late and she needed to get there now! Of course, when he opened the door...]

Ah...Max...millian...? Is that you? [Uh...oh...]

[Blinking, Max smiles brightly at her. It looks like she was just late today.] Oh, hi Anise! I was just coming to look for you.

[And with no hesitation, he reaches out to pull her into a hug with his free arm.]

[For a moment, Anise just stared at him before breaking out into a smile! With both of her arms, she want straight for a bear hug!]

Are you sure that it wasn't the other way around? I'm pretty sure that I was the one looking for you! I'm the one who was late here!

[She gave a giggle fire looking over to see what was in his other arm] and what's this? You have a gift for me too~?

I thought you might have been busy, so I was coming to you.

[Anise hugs are the best hugs at this point and he enjoys it and presses his cheek to the top of her head. When her attention is directed at the box he's holding he just chuckles.]

Well I had the money left and I know you have a bit of a sweet tooth, so I thought that I'd bring you a cake.

[As Anise saw it, her eyes couldn't help but widen.]

But you didn't need to spend that much on me! You should have spent something on yourself! Now I'm starting to feel gulity that you wasted that much for me...

[Hmm...] Oh I know, how about we share it? That is only fair right? For making me feel so bad about this whole thing!

Anise, what's the point of me having any money if I can't bring you something back? It wasn't a waste. [Says the guy who made his manor open to the public during the day.]

But we'll share it then. [Because he can't say no to those wide eyes.]

But still! You should have saved it all up for something else like a piece of bread for yourself or something!

Then c'mon, let's go and find somewhere to eat it! The fresher the cake, the better!

I didn't starve myself. I just budgeted my money so U didn't go broke.

[He starts to lead her to one the nearby cafe's outdoor tables.] I can get us something to drink with it. What would you like?

Oh really? Then that's great! I just hope that we'll be able to get enough to last for the next couple of month!

[She gave another giggle]

How about some hot chocolate? That's the best way to go with cake!

I'm not worried about it.

[He hands her the cake.] Hot chocolate it is. [And he walks over to the counter to order.]

[Meanwhile as he was getting hot chocolate, Anise couldn't help wonder a few things. For one, she was wondering if he was safe during that time away. Or if anything might have happened to him. Hopefully that wasn't the case ~~or else a few people would have a price to pay.~~

And if he truly did have enough money. It was nice to have money for the bills but ,hey, sometimes you need to be a bit selfish here. Having a few things for yourself can be a good thing! And he could be so selfless at times...

...And besides...

She wanted to know what kind of cake it was! The wait was killing her! ...Hm...don't mind her taking a peek...]
