Scanty didn't enjoy these city galas that her father held. She had to put on her best behavior and be polite around people she didn't know, nor did she particularly care for. The fact that Kneesocks was off on a mission somewhere far away didn't help matters.

It meant that Scanty was alone.

That just...didn't feel right to her. Scanty had been drinking a bit more than she usually did at these events to compensate for Kneesocks' absence. She was on her third glass already, and she could feel herself becoming light-headed from the effects of the alcohol. But, when one had wine in their hands, their only option would be to drink it; it was a ruuuuule after all.

So Scanty stood off to the one side of the room, half-drunk glass of wine in hand, clad in a black halter dress that came down to her knees with a slit up the right side that both accentuated her curves so nicely and allowed her easier access to her dual thongs should she require her weapons.

She looked up at Iskandar with a wide grin on her face but she was a bit unsure of herself. He was a passionate man, Apacci knew it, so she wasn't able to understand why he didn't want to get her. Was he going older or was it her fault, or what?

Iskandar choked on his drink when she asked the question so bluntly. He wasn't used to women talking like that. Rider glanced to her and stared for a while, unsure how to answer the question.

"Well I..." Rider began. "I wasn't sure that you...wanted to."

Usually that didn't matter to him. But with Apacci, he didn't want to risk doing something she didn't want to and risk making her angry. She was one of the few women in existence that could actually do some damage to him when angry.

Iskandar gestured to himself, his broad chest and frame.

"I'm obviously a big man, as you said," Rider sighed before pausing a moment. "It's not just my chest and muscles that are large..."

Yeah, he's going there.

"I didn't...want to hurt you."
