The Found a Pet Meme
Tonight, when you get home there's a box outside your front door with a note on top. The note simply says "Please take care of me". When you open the box you're surprised to find an abandoned animal. You can't resist its soft eyes and pathetic looks. Now you've got a new friend for life.
How to Play
Step One: Leave a comment with your muse and state whether you'd like a dog or cat or if you don't care. Looking for a Home will reply with a randomly selected pet of your choice for your muse. We will give you the basic information: breed, gender and personality. Congratulations, you have a brand new pet!
Step Two: Now that you have your pet, it's time to go around and tag others. You can tag whomever you want to play around with your new pet.
Can't think of anything? Here are a few suggestions to get you started:
Pet Store: Now that you have your new pet you need to get supplies for it. It's time for a trip to the Pet Store and pick up the basics.
Veterinary Office: Since you don't know the history of your pet it's best you get it checked out by a professional. The waiting room of the vet's office is a great place to meet other pet owners.
The Groomers: Remember that part about your pet looking pathetic? You might want to get them cleaned up at the groomers.
Going for a Walk: A great thing you can your pet can do together is take a little stroll. Maybe you like the park for a walk, or the beach. Just put one foot in front of each other and bond.
