Take heart, some of the best series are the overlooked ones. I love learning about obscure characters, checking out their series and getting into them. That's the way I've been introduced to half of the series I've watched.

if only more people were like you (and me). i'm always excited to learn about new fandoms myself, but i just want the occasional canonmate to play against (not even for shipping purposes, just to have someone familiar with my character(s)).

I'll admit, most of my wishes are shipping based. Mostly ships that didn't happen in-canon. But I understand the feeling of wanting someone your character already knows very well.

Do I ever know that feel. This guy, he's the only really playable character in his canon. I would even just settle for people from similar canons, that he could connect with relatively easily. But even those are rare as hen's teeth. :(

Yeah, I'm thinking more of a 'this thing is awesome, and you should play from it and this is why' focusing on the canon and what the potential players might enjoy about it, than what the searching player wants, which is what MMW does.

I will have to write a note to myself, and try and remember to do something like that. Because man, there are some fandoms I want to see played from.

Actually, I wanted to know what you were from, but in passing through your bio, userpics and lack of journals I could nothing, so my want to find out about this 'awesome fandom' was short lived.

If you want people to take an interest, at least give us the name of the show.

Keeping up tag rate!

Just curious to know: what are some steps that you take to ensure that you keep tags rolling relatively consistently? Is it a thing that anyone else but me considers important? Whether you're busy or you just want to see a thread played to some kind of conclusion, do you limit the number of tags you join or threads you start, do you talk with other taggers OOC, do you set up some kind of schedule to ensure that you get tags out at a relatively consistent speed?

I suppose this is more two questions than one: I've seen a lot of threads die out, and I'm aware that sometimes it's just a matter of people not really syncing well... but other times I do enjoy trying to wrap things up so that if I wanted to go back and read the thread later, it'd be a nice, bite-sized chunk of reading with a beginning and an end. Does anyone else prefer this over threads trailing off? What do you do to try to aim for that?
