She'd done her work right, under the mistletoe; wholly aside from having put on a good show she'd practically been able to feel the as-yet-unrealized boner potential that distracted Aaron's concentration for the rest of the party. She hadn't had to tease him a whit more than she already had (although she attributed that somewhat to having gotten dolled up in the first place -- nothing like a change of pace to get a person to sit up and take note of what's in front of them), and all through their short cab ride home he'd been giving her looks that offered evidence of his intentions. Far from discouraging him, she'd met each with a bright grin.

So here they were, having not even made it to the bedroom -- well, the bedroom was all the way at the back of the lightly cramped seventh-floor apartment. For their purposes the kitchen counter had done fine and better than fine, given that for once it was tidy and, rump planted on the worn plastic edge, it put Kay at just the right height.

Her dress was hiked up and wrinkled around her waist, panties left somewhere between the door and here. He'd managed to get his fancy pants wholly off and unbuttoned his suit-jacket -- she'd noticed with amusement that he'd taken a fastidious moment to drape the dress pants over the back of one of the kitchen chairs rather than let it wrinkle. Foreplay had been minimal -- no, foreplay had been the whole damn evening, had been maximal, so that from point a to point yelling-out-with-every-thrust had been a smooth transition.
