[There is nothing so pointless and overly romanticized as marriage. Bothering with a ceremony and an audience had been ridiculous from the start, especially when she barely knew the person she had been arranged to spend the rest of her life with. Making such an extravagant affair out of it was far more trouble than it was worth. No, the whole situation was.
