For some reason you are at a slumber party. No. Seriously. You are at a slumber party. DON'T QUESTION IT. You can be there by choice, or maybe just the will of the universe teleported you there. Who knows. All that is important now is you are involved in a slumber party ritual and you have to participate. No. Seriously. You are compelled to.

Also, you may be wearing a slumber party outfit... whether it's appropriate or not is up to how cruel your mun is the fates.

Or maybe you just really were invited to a slumber party. Who knows, that's half the fun~

Games:

1. Truth or Dare - Who hasn't enjoyed this game? Well.... except this time you are completely compelled to do what ever the asker has told you to do.. or tell the complete truth

2. Spin the bottle - Crap. Let's just hope it doesn't land on that one person you reeeeeeeeeeeeally hate.

3. 7 minutes in Heaven - Get shoved in a closet. You aren't let out until there is some serious kissing.


4. Bloody Mary - Summoning dead angry ghosts by chanting at a mirror? WHY NOT?

5. Pillow Fight - Possibly not as sexy as the pornos make it seem.

6. Scary Movie - ...Who decided that we should marathon Jaws, The Birds, and Psycho all in one night?

18. Bra/Undies in the Freezer - This is how we get hot heads to... (/sunglasses) cool down in the morning.

Can you do a handstand?

[She snorts in laughter. and stands up.]

Easily.

[Places her hands on the ground gingerly and whooop. Perfect handstand.



Ever the show off she ever takes one of her hands off the ground to show she can do a handstand with only one hand.

She stands back up right and takes a short bow and plops back on the ground. She isn't expecting a standing ovation from Homura at all.]

Truth or dare?

That's impressive. [she's being genuine!! she can't do handstands at all.] Truth.

[Nike props her head up on her hand.]

[then, slyly. Casually. Almost too casually.]

[she chokes. and she doesn't want to answer, she really doesn't, she's survived this long on her secrets, but she can't - ]

I've done this— I'm always living through the same timeline. Over and over again. I've done it so many times. And sometimes I don't think I can win. Madoka is going to die no matter what I do and— and if that's true, then there's nothing left for me to hope for.

[Nike's face falters. into something between sadness, pity and understanding. It was overwhelming... she didn't quite understand it but she knew that what this girl was dealing with was something that she possibly couldn't understand.

She reaches out and holds Homura close. She does it because she needs the support just as much as Homura does.]

There's always hope. There's always hope. [And suddenly it feels like Veronica-- her long dead best friend-- is talking and not her] Sometimes, y'just gotta make it yourself.

You don't understand. It— every time, it gets worse. I'm making it worse. But I can't just stop. I— I'm scared that Madoka just can't survive, even if I repeat it infinitely, and if Madoka isn't alive, then what do I have to live for?!

[nottheshoe]

[Then Nike loses her composure. She's clinging on to her more tightly than she remembers clinging on to anyone in recent memory.]

Y'think I don't understand? Not at all? [She takes a few breaths trying to compose herself. She's only partially successful.] I'm responsible. I caused my best friend's death. Vee... Vee woulda been around, she would have been liivin' a normal happy life if it hadn't been for me. [She can almost hear veronica's voice in the back of her head: Don't blame yourself. Don't blame yourself. Let me go]

My bestfriend, my family. All dead cause I thought I was somethin' special.

[And then her voice is still]

I did give up. I lost all hope and I let everyone else tell me what t'do...But. I gotta go on. I hafta. My family-- Veronica wouldn't want me livin' like this.

I'd be spittin' on their memory if I just gave up. Even if everything is hopeless.

[And nike never gave up. Not any more. She had to find her own path now]

That's not the same! It's not— Madoka's not dead!! [she absolutely screams it. when homura breaks down, she breaks down hard.] I won't let her die! But— I've seen it— I've watched her die, I've seen all of them die, so many times, I've lost count, I've— more than once, I've killed them, with my own hands!
