[ At that description of Ruby's school life, Haruka pauses in the act of settling her jacket around the other girl's shoulders. She shrugs soon enough, however, and lets it touch down. That ought to help this ally of justice fend off the cold. ]

[Even allies of justice need to stay warm! She's a little surprised when Haruka lends her the jacket, but she smiles warmly and proceeds to put her arms through the sleeves.]

Well I'm sure whatever you do is pretty cool, regardless.

You wouldn't think so, but they certainly find a way to make it happen. Biology, history, they know how to pile it up on you.

[ That would explain why you so openly attack enemies....Haruka's trying to picture a whole school focused on defending Earth. It's an interesting idea, though she can also think of a whole slew of ways it could make matters worse. ]

[ When she smirks, for a moment, she looks almost like that Sailor Uranus woman you ran into once. Crazy, right? ]

[For a second Ruby almost notices that connection, but she's quick to dismiss it. Haruka and Sailor Uranus the same person? That's nuts!]

You never answered my question though, what exactly do you do?

[ A chuckle. ] You really are persistent.

[ Enough so, in fact, that she'll answer your question. ] I race, sometimes. Motor sports. It used to be the only thing that excited me...

[ And it still does. She's just picked up a few more hobbies, like defending the world. ]

[ Whoa, a hug! But that's okay. Haruka softens after the surprise fades, patting Ruby on the head. She murmurs, almost to herself: ]

[She might throw in a quick little nuzzle before she pulls back.]

Who? Me? Well, maybe a little.

Is there anything I can do to return the favor? I wouldn't feel right just taking the tickets.

[ Haruka really needs to stop brooding out loud. Ruby doesn't seem to suspect anything, though. (A nuzzle, really? That's absurdly cute.)

So when the contact breaks, Haruka shrugs. ] Just have a great time and we're even. I mean...

[ Winking, she taps her own lips. ] You already gave me something nice, right?

[Ruby will look a bit confused, sorry, she doesn't get subtlety.]
