How to Play

He didn't really linger on the hook either. He wasn't even 'human' so why should something like that bother him? Very little did anymore. After all, the rest of the package was more than just easy on the eyes. "I almost want to ask if you have a story to tell..." A leading statement, of course.
That remained hanging as he glanced up at the mistletoe as well. "This is true. Logically that is the best course of action." A grin pulled at his lips, lighting up his eyes as he caught the other man's gaze. "But if the spell is broken I'll lose the most interesting company I've had all night. That would be a real shame."

"Oh there's a story mate. One you've probably heard about pixie dust and crocodiles." But then his eyes narrowed with a knowing smirk. "But I doubt that's what you want to hear right now."
"Who says you have to loose it once the kiss is done?" It was an invitation, plain and simple. Or at least, a challenge to earn an invitation. A kiss could say alot about a man and it would definitely prove if this young man was worth more of Hook's time.

Maybe it was looking for a connection, some type of similarity to his own life. Or maybe something else. Either way, Alec changed gears to the matter at hand. He never lingered on anything too sentimental. "I don't suppose it would have to end there."
One corner of his lips lifted and he was shocked when he ducked his head to laugh. He could see the challenge, hear it, and feel that tension it sent through him. Alec liked challenges. Reaching out, he slipped his fingertips along the leather lapel of the other man's collar. "Any rules or limitations I should know about? Husbands or wives that might kill me in the wake? I like to plot out an escape route just in case." Grinning, he winked at the elder, purposely mixing playfulness with seriousness.

Not lingering long on the sentimental would have met with Hook's approval. Being overly sentimental was often his down fall.
When his challenge was accepted, Hook couldn't help adding a satisfied layer to his smirk. This was worthy opponent indeed. The hand running down his coat was met with his hook lightly gripping the boy's waist and pulling him forward. The wink and grin was met with one in kind. "I'm a pirate mate. What do you think? I'd ask the same...but I can't say I care."

He never got a 'childhood'. And innocence proved elusive and subject to interpretation for a child raised to 'not care'. They didn't account for the fact he would care too much in the end.
Alec's fingers curled tight in the leather causing it to creak just slightly under too strong fingers the moment the other drew him closer. "Hey, one should never forget how important it is to have a handy escape route when kissing a good looking man." Smirking, he reached out with his other hand and cupped the back of his neck. He liked the guy's way of thinking. Which is why he pulled the other in and pressed his lips fully to his first biting the lower lip sharply before pressing closer questing to deepen the kiss.

But if Hook knew the circumstances of this young man's creation, he would genuinely feel sorry for him. One could not full appreciate the absence of innocence without having experienced it first.
"Smart, boy. Very smart." Hook's hand had joined his hook, pulling the young man to him. Usually he was a bit more forward himself, but it was rare that his challenge was so readily accepted and he was quite content to reap the spoils. Not that he was going to be passive either. The bite earned a soft growl from the pirate's throat as he attacked the young man's mouth, seeking entrance and dominance. His hand even ventured southward, claiming more territory then just that outlined by the magical weed.

"No big deal." Grinning, he knew it likely was, but he'd ignore it for now. Maybe if the guy did talk to him after a kiss, he'd venture down that 'get to know you' path he often avoided.
"I'm a genius." If he could smile more, it would be hard to believe. But hey, he wasn't lying. His IQ points proved it. Even if he was being a smart ass. Which counterpointed that sudden need to gasp for air as he pressed into the other man. His fingers tightened in the dark hair, but he reflexively didn't pull as hard as he could. Which almost became a null point at that growl. It spurred him on like a shot of adrenaline.
Pushing firmly against him, he found himself relenting just a little as he opened his mouth up for the elder. But that didn't mean he gave in right away. Part of the fun was the vying for dominance. But he had a feeling... especially with that hand on his ass... that he'd give in far faster than he thought he would. And the sudden sound he made into the kiss? Yeah, that proved he was a goner.

In truth, Hook hadn't set to trap anyone tonight. Too much on his mind from the recent trip to Neverland. But he would not regret trapping this young man in the slightest. He was exactly what he needed: a handsome and worthy opponent. While he wouldn't exactly mind the get to know you chat that might come later, he was rather glad to leave this decision behind. Lost innocence was quite the mood killer.
"Are you now, luv? That could prove to be very entertaining." In truth, Hook didn't care much about the brains. He'd always preferred creativity to intelligence but it never hurt. And right now, he was much more concerned about how the boy kissed, which was definitely passing the test.
The sound made him grin and he pressed harder to win the battle. It had been a good fight, a very good fight if Hook would say so, but it was time to go in for the kill. With the spell of the mistletoe broken, he used his grip on the young man and the distraction of the kiss to move them out of the middle of the door way and back the other against the nearby wall. Now, he truly had him trapped, just where he wanted him.
When the need for breath came, he moved his head back slightly and looked the young man in the eyes. "You have a name lad?"

Even with his 'genius' status, Alec found no use in proving or showing it in any other way. He preferred people to just see the pretty packaging and that way he could get away in the end. Made life easier. But he rather liked this guy. Enough to want to talk to him when they got more important matters out of the way. Not that he wanted to rush those matters... at all.
Not when his brain and everything else melted as his swashbuckling friend plundered his mouth. Pun intended. Seriously, the man was removing his wit and ability to think. That included the movement to the wall until he felt his back hit it. He tensed only a moment before he melted into it and pulled the other man closer.
The panting that followed had nothing to do with running out of breath and everything to do with how fast his heart pounded in his chest now. Dropping his head back against the wall, he had to admit... damn good kisser. "I do." He grinned as he opened his eyes to peer through a dark layer of lashes. "Normally I like to make people work for it, but you, have to be the best kisser I've ever met."
Licking his lips, he smiled to himself. "Alec. Yours?"

Hook liked to talk. He had many stories of adventures and daring on the high seas in many different worlds that hardly even needed embellishing. The retellings tended to do that for him. It was how he'd won the love of his precious Milah and many a barmaid and cabin boy in between. If this lad wanted to hear stories, then stories he could hear.
If he got down to what was genuinely Hook...well, that would have to see. After loosing his brother and becoming a pirate, he tended to keep his old naval officer self under wraps, so as not to be hurt and betrayed again. It had only gotten worse when he'd earned a colorful moniker to hide behind.
He grinned to himself as the answered to being pushed against the wall only to draw him closer. The grin turned into a side smirk when the boy, Alec, came away panting. He was good and he knew it. "I do have a habit of bending the rules, even people's self imposed ones."
"Killian Jones, at your service, my lad." He ducked his in a parody of a bow. "Though, most people just refer to me by my more colorful moniker of Captain Hook."

Alec would have to admit that he liked to talk as well. Normally his talking covered his short comings. Some thought him sociopathic, but Alec knew his lies were just that. Lies. He didn't believe them even if he wanted to. But the thought struck him that maybe he'd like to get lost in this guys stories. Yeah, he'd like that...
Because no one wanted to hear the sob story of a lab rat that most didn't even see as human. So, there was plenty of time for stories. They both likely didn't want to get that deep... and if they ever did... Well, no point in thinking about that anyway.
"I think I like that about you. Rules need to be bent. Otherwise life would be pretty dull and boring." He bent them all the time. Or broke them, whichever came first. Either way, his green eyes lit up with that cheeky grin. Alec nearly teased about 'bending' more than rules until the man gave his name.
"Killian." He liked that name. He liked it a lot. Lad maybe not so much. He'd let it go for right now. "Captain Hook. What... no Captain Morgan?" Smirking all the more, he knew he shouldn't tease, but Alec probably had the maturity of a thirteen year old sometimes. "So... you are from that fairy tale. Hey... nothing surprises me anymore." Delusional or reality, Alec didn't really care. "Which do you prefer to be called? Because honestly? My real name is really awful, so I go for the new adopted one."
