[She let her arms wrap around his shoulders, but purposely kept her lips just out of kissing distance]

Now, you're only supposed to take one kiss.

[She teased, knowing very well that Cyrus couldn't stop at one]

[chuckles and drops their foreheads together after kissing her again]

Where is the fun in that?

Well, one kiss is given without second glance. Another encourages us to be wed.

[ Not that he hadn't already proposed to her. She leaned forward to purposely steal the second kiss from him, her hands cupping his face, as if she cared more about him breaking their kiss than society itself]

Who needs encouraging? Didn't I already propose?

[Of course he had to tease her a little before he moved in to kiss her again, holding her close as he didn't want to break the kiss anymore then she did.]

[She was reluctant to break the kiss, but air was becoming a necessary thing to have. So when she finally pulled away, she was breathless and smiling]

I was teasing, Cyrus. You can have as many kisses as you like.

I can't believe in all your travels you've never encountered mistletoe before, but then again I guess that's a good thing.

[Leans his head into her head, much like a dog]

I've encountered traditions like it. There is an artic world where it is an insult not to sleep in a pile. And in another there is an entire romantic language spoken in fan positions.

But I think I prefer discovery this particular tradition with you.

[Alice laughs when his head follows the touch of her hand, sliding her fingers through his dark hair, even ruffling it just a little bit]

I'm glad you think so. I wouldn't want to be caught under the mistletoe with anyone else.
