[This holiday party certainly had Penny all abuzz with excitement. It was strange, new and there were people around celebrating and having a good time!

[ Even after their famously underdog team had all grown up and gone their separate ways, there was no avoiding the Christmas party.

This wasn't because any of them really celebrated the Christian holiday, or gave much of a damn for the spirit of the season. It just seemed a good time of year to catch up. The snow reminded them of building snowmen outside the Tokyo Dome. It was a time of endings and beginnings. Plus, in Musashi's case, he didn't have all that much work to do when the snow started. He wouldn't feel guilty about taking time to himself, for once.

Now he kicks back in some club Hiruma's blackmailed the use of, watching his old teammates mill about and hang out with a comfortable smile on his face. The (somewhat spiked) eggnog's been flowing freely and Musashi feels as sentimental as the old man a certain devil nicknamed him, years and years ago. Can he help it? It's nice to see the young'uns growing up and going their own ways. It's nice to see everyone come back together and reconnect like they never split. ]
